I totally agree here… I’d even add there comes a point ( or should come a point) where you realise it’s now just too big for little Solgold, and you just need to get it monetised with someone with much deeper pockets and more firepower to move it forward.. and that has to be in the interests of shareholders…

I think the Porv and PFS update must be what Solg are hoping to change our sentiment…. And I’d like to think it’s common sense to get those out before doing any raise at todays depressed price. But my faith in the board is extremely low.

Looks like we are all just crossing our fingers and hoping. Something has to give soon

Red, Surely doing another modest 10-20 million raise, only gets us a few months down the road with absolutely no exploration done anywhere?

Within a month the market would just pull us back down to the teens, knowing we would be back scrabbling around for funding ideas in a matter of weeks..

Solg say DFS targeted for H2 2023.. so we could realistically expect around mid 24… that’s a lot of funding.

I would love the board to clearly explain why they have waited for the price to drop so far, before seeking funding. When they knew we would need funding later in the year while we were sat mid 30s….

One positive in all this doom.. if any deal does suddenly appear on the horizon it will be done in dollars… and it’s soaring against the pound..

I’m sure there are quite a few feeling cynical re our boards handling of OUR asset.

News of anything other than Cascabel and Porvenir is a long way off, as we are now an exploration company doing no exploration.

I am, I’m sure like others, just left shaking my head, knowing we have a superb tier 1 asset, but also knowing the boards progress in any area you could care to highlight, is not even glacial…

A raise is coming, and it won’t be at a premium…. Solgold have Never chosen to do a capital raise when when the share price is around a high point and confidence is good…..

They are always a can kicking exercise when we have seen a large drop and funds are low…

I do think we are all often guilty of positive reinforcement of the idea that BHP are guaranteed to want to own Cascabel… because it’s what we all want..

yes they own a small percentage, but it really is a tiny investment to them. One they could easily just shelve and focus elsewhere… bigger fish to fry with much faster routes to profits than us… we lost the long touted first mover advantage a while ago.

There really is no guarantee that they are that serious about us.. their M & A activity so far has been aimed at other companies, it’s fair to ask why…

I am still invested here, all be it smaller since PFS day… but I am questioning my own, and others, level of confirmation bias regarding how much BHP May want us..

In our case specifically the sentiment is being driven by a **** poor board

The idea that a few, tiny, tiny, scaled private investors, discussing some potential negative points surrounding their specific investment, would have any resulting impact on the overall share price is absurd…. It’s general market sentiment that drives our price, not a few people on an internet bb. And general market sentiment can be seen by looking at the last 6 month graph.

A small 25m raise, primary bid type exercise, would surely only see us with enough funds to yet again limp our way to next summer….

It would be yet another can kicking exercise that our board have done many times before….

So I expect them to do it again.
