I think the announced plan is that he would probably step down when the new team is lined up. So no great shakes - the important news is what the new team are planning to get production going, that is more of a catalyst for the share price imo

simply really - if their actions were illegal then shareholders will compensated; we know that there is a legal action pending.......we'll have to wait and see.

I would if I could - I have notified before on this board what has been happening, other shareholders have been contacted I know. I believe there may legal action in the background. Looks liked they have now given up picking the company up for a song. Utter disgrace but then this is AIM.

Imo if there was nothing worthwhile coming out of the review CW would have chosen today of all days to fall on his sword and close the company. He is simply over seeing fresh third party eyes and conveying their view.

I expect that he will hand over early in the New Year after acting as care keeping CEO. Let's see.

Well if they eventually announce 1,000 bopd (maybe more) and are cashlow positive next few weeks - which seems very likely (and before end of Jan) then we will see shorts closing fast; certainly been a long time coming based on previous expected time lines but I expect a fast reversal of the share price here. Buying op imo

PQE got clobbered on a short - on the face of it that is now closing - should move quickly above $1, then build on that.

I have no idea is CW is shifting his focus on Mayan.

Pablo has said he is here to assist in the review as interim review - details of which we know nothing. His position is then to be reviewed.

We need the outcome of the review to a make an informed view on the current state of affairs. News must be close.

or do you think he may be looking to stay on? Two Shields last week: will other commitments involve Mayan? We'll know soon enough and a bit more about the the new team being assembled in the US.

Subject to the approval of the Resolutions at the General Meeting, Andrew Lawley shall be appointed as non-executive Chairman of the Company. Once appointed, Andrew Lawley will replace Charlie Wood, who will step down as a director of the Company in order to focus on his other commitments.

Re 2 agreed - Sarah Cope would not jeopardise her good standing in the marketplace if there was nothing there - quite the opposite I expect (after being privy to the review) - certainly that her is her track history in turning around companies she has been involved in.

Not forgetting Amoruso as new Non Exec Chair - he knows and has advised the company, why would he take this role on if it were a lost case - go figure.
