Look at my posting history and you will notice I am just a PI who is interested in copper as a good thing to be investing in.
My journey was Investors chronicle -> SLP -> JLP -> XTR, Kalahari copper belt so then sandfire, KAV, AFP.
I only ever started looking at the ARCM board as fulmar started posting on several of the above boards.

I am not invested in arcm, but have it on a watchlist with many other shares. I read it regularly as it's one of the most entertaining boards in my limited knowledge/experience. The conspiracy theories especially really tickle me, especially as I am now part of it.

Great 20% rise btw.
Hopefully 2022 will be better than 2021, arcm find some metal and JV/sell to a major.

As you bring up XTR, you obviously are aware that it has now discovered a second porphyry.
As I am sure you are aware, its the sheer scale of these things that matter. The economic cutoff for some open pit mines is .15%. Very happy with even more mineralisation on each RNS. The conceptual open pit keeps getting larger and larger. XTR are not looking for 2% copper - they want 2mt+ of say .3%
And now they have 2 porphyries of 2mt each?
Oh and they have drilled 40 holes this year, each at 600m, and the assays continue to roll in every other week.

She has stated she has sold, and explained why. There was a really good discussion about the points she has raised.
I have found ella to have the capacity to do a lot of research, and be able to actually read historical RNS.

I'm not a geologist, but I would assume there is a bit of a lag between cores coming up, logging, initial analysis, and then summarizing what they have actually got?
Then that needs crafting into am RNS. I think 7am Monday morning is a bit hopeful

We all are weighing up the +ves and -ves in any shares, especially in explorers where the risks and rewards are higher.
I reviewed my holding here last week, and bought more last Thursday.
One of the key deciding factors for me was #6 - Mike Moles buying a lot more shares. We will never have as much information as insiders in the company - if they are buying, then that suggests that the information they have so far is positive.

Re the assays for hole A - I thought there were also delays as rocks were being displayed to various interested 3rd parties?

Good presentation for those, (including me) that have not done extensive research on the other licences kav hold

That was the point of my post, to tease out / verbalize the risks that we face. We know what the rewards should be, but we need to have our eyes open.

I am forever thinking of adding more here, but I have enough for my risk appetite. I will be cursing if we find our norilisk/iocg duo, that I did not invest more, but I am happy with the size of my investment.

But.... Norilisk/iocg on top of each other.... :-)

We all hope for boom, but you have to be prepared for bust.
One of the most interesting points was people with limit orders in, hoping to catch a dip in the share price ahead of any news.
Well, the news came in, it was bad, the share price plummeted, and those orders got filled on the way down giving those investors instant 70-85% losses. Ouch.

Im feeling a little exposed, but the conviction seems high, building evidence, and other prospects if this fails.....

Thoughts..?

Were you contrasting the very good drill hole of filo v xtr hole 38, or the *7 increase in share price of filo in 1 yr.

I would be 'xtr'actic with *4!

Back on the summer, this did the same thing on no news......
Then it spent a while clawing it's way back.
I stupidly did not sell during cop26.
So the roller coaster starts again....

Thanks for the post - I've never looked int the history of the company before - I assumed it was yet another Colin vehicle, but I saw he joined in 2012 as the company changed focus from energy to mining.
