Hard luck Task on that GBP JPY. It was a hard one to call, markets very thin now and not following any of the usual patterns. All those shooting stars and it goes up ?................. Ive been out most of the day but left a short chf jpy running with a very tight TP which hit for about 5 pips,,,,,,,,, then just now got it right twice on a Ftse short for about the same amount 1 x 3 pips and 1 x 5 pips and that good going under the circumstances. GS suggested looking at 888 am perusing it now.

Yes that copper is a risk -on play for sure RR happy with that plus i took a small S/B on and closed out for a decent profit.

Task I also went short on Ftse in and out just now .. weekly P/L now looking a lot healthier

NIce drop on RR today allowed me to get back in at a low price ..... now accumulated another 140 free share on my original £2k investment . ( i know they could drop further) but I still think RR will get back up to 170 some time next year

Well done that's good trade . I was happy at B/E.... Copper closes early and I was happy to be out before. you never know if it's going to gap back up . US dollar weakness pushed it up to new highs

Ok I see you are short ditto im underwater but the last 3 hrs ist not been able to break 7900 so should be ok except massive spread does help....... I lost a packet trying to short the Dax

I can see why you went long as its very bullish due to US dollar being very bearish. The difficulty with swings is all of the intra day trading going on in between and the Americans often dragging it the opposite way at 2.30 open.. I know of some prop traders who will stay in trades for weeks on end if they see a trend, like gold for instances and the Dow ... Markets are very thin as we get nearer to Christmas and its getting more difficult to see direction

Grabbed the last few pips out of a silver short... UJ came good eventually but still a bit down on the week ...Time yet....

Yes i think so...... often the swings do work out in the end but its the pain your going through whilst its playing out and you never really know.. i know one person who plays it but i think it has a big spread. saying that all the usual pairs we are trading are being knocked about by news events and some manipulation. Singapore dollar has decent spreads i trade that
