Ah apologies. Looks like the placing was the update. As you say nothing very specific. If the sp was rocketing as it was towards £3.00 before the placing and the placing was for < 5% then its pretty illogical and little reason for the sp to be where it currently is. This is pretty standard market reaction for companies that have raised capital recently. The placing itself doesn't look much of a war chest , so perhaps has made the market a bit suspicious. Most of the thinking for this is, it is likely to become much harder to raise money for the rest of this year. With the bounce from recent lows it became the obvious time to tap the market for funds which so many have been doing. There are many strategies to takeovers other than all cash, so hopefully with more evidence of having turned sustainably profitable in June and possibly further comments about 'new opportunities' should get us going in the right direction again. More patience!

Currently 3 shorts open from 1 in March, 1 in April and the last open Monday. 1.9 % in all. We saw what happened in the last rns so it does look a risky stock to short especially with no debt and a cash pile. Created a very good buying op though.

Ok. Well it did get a bit exited last week so I sold at 73p, but back in this morning, one of my better timed trades I hope!

No debt, no bank covenants, 100 million in the bank, ongoing work at NHS strong order book. Granted its gone up a bit since January. Top value/momentum stock on Stockopedia. Seems to be quite news driven but should be plenty of that to come

Trading in the acquisition was ahead of expectations until corona virus. Some talk of training online and a reminder that AP own no planes and uptick in private jet charter all sound like cautious messages of reassurance. Last years results were May 9th.

Just looked at the SLP site and they have slightly different information to stockopedia on major shareholdings( will be on to them next week about their out of date information. . Majedie do indeed seem to have gone. No surprise there, one of the worst performing trust after Woodford, or maybe even worse. Anyway the interesting thing is that institutional holdings appear to be 4% higher overall at 60% now.

the price of gold probably hasn't helped either, down about 5% on the week. Should pick up once Trump starts slinging abuse around the globe again as is his penchant.

I know what you mean about trusts Ragnar. There are two very good trusts Mnks which has gone from about £1.25 to £10 in ten years and Scottish Mortgage both have outperformed the Dow this year. majedie was over £4.00 in 2000 has managed to halve in 20 years! Trouble is a lot of them invest in ftse 100 which has gone from nearly 7000 in 2000 to under 6000 20 years on and thats with replacing 10 stock every year. . Giving them the opportunity to replace the entire index twice over. Unbelievably poor!

9 institutions hold shares making up 56%. 4 no change, 3 reduced holdings , 2 bought in this year. Majedie down to 4.8% thats according to Stockopedia today. Don't know how often they update but would think they are better than lse who take months to update even the bloody sp sometimes!

Stockopedia have just updated their Top shareholder percentage chart which takes account of RAB's 4% recent purchase, raising top holders to 80% of TSG. Incidentally they bought on the same day as update presentation April 23rd. The other 2 purchases do look like a transfer from UGF to an investment company set up by themselves. They have used their own name again, so nothing particularly fishy, just a tax shelter scheme I guess. Seems to be on the rise again

Probably correct Kragero. Late reported or took a while to fill the order. I guess the big traders are done broker to broker, so we never actually know who paid what. Price of gold has fallen 5% this week, so most gold stocks have eased off. None the less these three new investment companies clearly think they have found a good home for some cash.
