As to who benefits from the suspension. well, it’s not ordinary private investors, is it? Nor Trafigura. It may, however, be of benefit to the other large shareholders, whose balance sheets can include the value of their shares at the suspension price, rather than at the considerably lower price that would prevail if they were still traded.

HITS: an excellent post. Angus appears to be bust, in default and without alternative sources of finance. The hedge schedule is ruinous. And think what will happen if production continues to fall at the rate of the past year or two.
