Electric cars only make sense as a company car at the moment. a 50k car on electric would cost around £33 per month with some one on 40% tax bracket while 50k diesel would cost £530 per month.

Every business I deal with has used the increase in energy prices to increase their own prices with their own inflated mark up = High inflation.

Inflation would be no where near what it is now if energy prices hadn't trebled. This is the true driver.

Yes but every business and person is affected by them, reduced costs mean reduced prices = reduced inflation.

Just had email from energy supplier stating prices would reduce by 17% from July 1st. Inflation will be dropping dramatically soon then roll on Lloyds profits.
