Nonsense. There is such a thing as opportunity cost. Schlum don't have people and equipment lying around doing nothing, they are employed in productive or profitable work. Salaries have to be paid and equipment purchased and maintained. The costs of failure as opposed to the profit foregone are considerable.
My bet is that the meeting tomorrow is about managing expectations. I've no idea what the figure will be but I think people will come away with some idea of the range being looked at.
I think the judge is saying that, although the case is weak, if he were to make a judgement it could be challenged on the basis that the proceedings are at too early a stage for it to be made with sufficient certainty.
Thanks B. It certainly is creeping up! I've asked for the first (small) tranche to be sold, the larger amount is in a different account so I hope it continues upwards in the meantime.
Thanks all for your responses. My mortgage has to be paid off next month. I had expected PLE would pay it off and leave me with a tidy surplus. As it is I will have to borrow thousands. Good luck to you all.
Hi All, I don't post very often although I've been in PLE for years. Sadly, I now have to sell my holding at a considerable loss. The price on the RPG site is 0.31 HKD. Presumably this is mid price. Does anyone have any idea what the spread is usually like i.e. am I like to get 0.30 or something like 0.25? Any comments appreciated.
It is very concerning that they resigned without notice or (apparently) explanation. Knowing that FRR would be automatically suspended as a consequence suggests that either they have made a very serious cock up themselves, or have grave concerns over the behaviour of FRR.There should be an RNS explaining why they resigned.
The consolidation took place around mid August on the basis of 0.006818 New Ordinary Shares for each 1 Existing Ordinary Share. Multiply the number of shares you have by .006818 to get the new figure. They have risen substantially in the last 3 years so I hope you have a lot of them.
If your uncle had a broker it might be worth contacting them about the certificates.
Feel free to ask any further questions - although I can't guarantee being able to answer them!.
Yes, I agree with your prediction. Not back in yet but plan to be in the near future. RRs buy is a good indication that he expects further progress in the sp.
