@Sheriff89 - absolutely this. Nobody (especially some people on this board) know when RAT will happen (it might not happen) and continuing to post that it WILL happen will not make a jot of difference. Also, the Ghana government will not give a fig about the SPOD price so why so much of this board continue to list what the SPOD prices are each day and trailing days is baffling. The Ghana government won't make a long-term decision based on extremely short term prices of an element. As I said before, I have a very small holding of ALL within my SIPP and with my risk management hat on means that if it all goes t**ts up then it'll be annoying and not disastrous. Some, I fear, have over-egged their portfolios and fear anything but RAT. I hope that RAT is agreed for all here (I have no idea who you are but wish the very best for you and that you make a lot of money) but for new investors, or those with little experience, don't bet the farm. I am slightly up overall on my investment having bought in twice at 24p and 7.5p but won't be investing additional funds.

We all WANT the ratification but it's not a given that it WILL happen. We can hope and expect it to be granted (it makes sense for Parliament given the change in royalties), but none of us know. Even if ratification is granted, no one can predict the lithium price in the future - remember Sirius Minerals and how potash was going to make the local investors wealthy (another pre-revenue business).

I'm not trying to p!ss on anyone's parade, but trying to be balanced. I really hope the business is a success but if it all goes t!ts up then it'll be annoying but not disastrous for me (perhaps those most vocal for success are over-invested and need it to be a success, I don't know).

Anyway, good luck all holders and let's be positive, but not be an echo-chamber.

I agree LTbeliever that the monetary value is meaningless, it's the principle that annoys me and in my view (I may be alone in this) shows the character of the individuals. Warren Buffett said, 'Show me the incentive, and I will show you the outcome' - incentives drive behaviour and for a company making operating losses, I don't agree with this behaviour. Just my opinion.

Nice to see the directors of the company agreeing to double the interest rate on Uri's loan to the business of $256,000 (from 4% interest to 8% interest) to suck a bit more money out.

Not particularly and I think mentally I've written them off (I only keep holding as it's a relatively low value and you never know!). Like you, I regret not selling when the price spiked after the DHL test 'contract' was announced as I could have taken out my initial capital and just left the profit in. Very frustrating.

Yes - these year end results they mentioned for March are slightly late... I am aware that as an AIM company they have to produce results 6 months after year end as a maximum, so we could be waiting until 30th June potentially.

No thinly veiled attempt at all - I have my T42 share allocation in my portfolio (it's not a high allocation) and won't be buying any more. It was simply a question that seemed relevant - a major distributor sees a slow down and wondered if this will reflect through to another distributor. I hope that T42 are successful but it always seems to be jam tomorrow.

I wonder if the share price will come under pressure from the FedEx results after the close yesterday? If FedEx see a downturn, then DHL will surely see the same and if there's less demand, will DHL be focussed on tracking or saving costs?

My opinion - TRAC won the DHL 'competition' a year ago tomorrow, which was a terrific achievement. After the initial euphoria of the first order from DHL in January when the price spiked at about 30p or so, it has fallen back. DHL have still not ordered more than the initial 32 units. We have had a few more encouraging rns releases but even the best of these recent orders runs into the hundreds. We need orders running into the thousands / tens of thousands to really make a difference for the prospects of this business and until that time, we'll get little bumps up when a new order comes in and then it will gradually fall back whilst the sellers scalp their 10% or so. Nothing wrong with that if that's what they wish to do, but I hope that significant orders arrive (as I'm sure we all do) as surely with the importance of tracking cargo at the moment, these products should be flying off the shelves.

When the rns was released on the 24th January stating that DHL had agreed to use 32 Lockies units, there was also mention of, "The Company expects the initial order for 32 units to be followed by further orders by DHL." As the Lockies units have been in use now for two months, and DHL will have had real-time practical experience of the units within their business, I am wondering when any further orders could be announced. I'm not expecting exact dates and I have no experience in their industry, just wondering when might be the time an announcement may be released. Would an rns have to be released if DHL decided that 32 units was enough / they won't be ordering any additional units? Does any one have any ideas? Cheers, OLTB.

Outrageous share price movement - it’s as though the significant order of 32 units by DHL has been ignored. Kicking myself for not selling on the spike. I am aware that sometimes this board can be a bit of an echo chamber about how great the business is (and I think the products are good) but I can’t see myself being invested for much longer if the price recovers.

Well done to all holders - very happy to see such a positive rns with still potential more deals to come. Will still hold on this news and no intention of selling. A bagger for me (and I see a 3 bagger for Riddler - excellent) and I think the bod have the right strategy to bring solutions to the well documented supply chain industry problems.

Just saw the rns this morning and I’m so pleased for all holders. Do I wish I held more than 1% in my portfolio - yes of course! Well done for those with larger cajones than me - your risk strategy paid off. I won’t be cashing in, just holding on and seeing where it goes for now. Perhaps some investors were anticipating news / an rns at the same time as the consolidation and re-brand and got a little frustrated / impatient? The company has always said that contract news should be in by the end of the year so happy to wait.

Hi Foxhill - none taken!

I am an inexperienced investor and my position size reflects that - I fully appreciate that others have far larger holdings in STAR in terms of their percentage of portfolio. Perhaps if I'd had a few more years of experience in investing in microcap stocks, I would have increased my holding, but I'm happy where I am at the moment. I wish everyone well with whatever the outcome is.

I was (perhaps clumsily) trying to say that it was good to see strength coming back into the price after a slight sell-off.

I don’t have a large exposure to STAR (just 1% of my portfolio value) but I am just as keen for the firm to do well as everyone else is.

Price fell and touched the 13 day ema and then bounced back - was at top of bollinger band for the latter part of last week so perhaps a bit of steam let off was needed. I'm prepared for quite a bit of volatility and short term profit taking by some (I have no issue with traders scalping profits if that's what they want to do). Until these contracts are either confirmed or not by STAR / t42, I imagine the price will be a little wobbly for a few more weeks. Cheers, OLTB.

Thanks Riddler - I wasn’t aware of the general AIM valuations based on 50 x annual revenues. Are those valuations within similar industries to STAR? If so, what are your thoughts on why the price is so low at 2 x annual revenues - what is holding it back as that seems a massive discrepancy.

In a separate area, I am pleased that the BOD seem happy to defer pay for options - if they see a potentially bright future (and they are closer than we would ever be) then maybe I should be a little more enthusiastic.

@Hedgehog100 I think all of the shareholders hope you are right and yes, there would have been a lot of initial due diligence by DHL on all of the competition entries to even get to show off their products - I'm sure that many companies didn't even get that far. It is all looking positive and we all wait for that rns to see what the decision is.

Turning to your point about Starcom's multi-million pound turnover, the old phrase of, "Turnover is vanity..." comes to mind and I personally wouldn't hang my hat on turnover. Profit is what we (and the market) are looking for and so far, it aint there. As you say though, we are looking to the future and fingers crossed.

Doji currently so indecision on direction - if the direction decision is positive and it finds support at fib projection (30.8p) then could jump to 45.6p or 60.4p. I am just in profit at the moment and holding on as this is welcome news. GLA.
