This recent business re forecasts is over my head but it appears Elrico has got something right and TW was wrong. If this is correct [ beyond my expertise so no idea] then well done to the lad.I am pleased to see the SP sparking back to life but no intention to risk getting back in at this stage.
I had to smile at leapfroggy's 20p average post...I was buying in at all sorts of prices all the way up to 120 so I am pleased I dumped shares all the way down and got out of this disaster obviously at a loss.I suspect that I am not alone buying at 120!
Nick I had a look at Elrico's post of 28/02 to see if I could help you and I think I can.You will remember that I suggested he had delusions of grandeur well following on from that he appears to think he is Shakespeare! I note in a later post he is writing more normally so I assume he has now taken his tablets.
I am led to believe he is off to Stratford for the weekend.
The climate could not be better for a sweetbiotix launch although the wait has frustrated us all.It is becoming clear that sugar and sweeteners in ultra processed food has caused nearly the same morbidity and mortality as smoking. Many countries have legislated against this food type and surely the UK will belatedly follow.Gut health is now known to be an essential for our general health. We have products that will fit perfectly with the move away from ultra processed ,high sugar/artificial sweetener full foodstuffs.Several global companies have expressed their wish to embrace healthier food so if we are good enough we should get into the team.
Bigpunt...Its a fact that they have released results half way through the study so I dont need to know the methodology to pass comment on that situation. If you think doing this is perfectly acceptable then fair enough that's your opinion but it certainly isn't mine.
Even the RNS states...The completion of the full study and analysis of the total data set is required to understand the outcomes....Indeed it is so why have interim results been released? ..and who made that decision?
Bigpunt
It may be simple but there is nothing cynical about my challenge.Maybe you would like to explain your challenge to the challenge. This is your stage to explain why its not problematical to release results while a short study is still continuing
I was thinking about my analysis re the released acne study results so far and it is well worth a read if you want an unbiased opinion and I thought 'Why have they released some results while the trial is only half way through' Surely the study is somewhat compromised as both the participants and study investigators have knowledge of the results so far and this introduces bias subconscious or otherwise.
I thought I had heard it all on here.I have seen ducks lined up, amazon shopping baskets,"exponential axisbiotix sales" secret algorithms... imminent Croda announcements...High NWFriends....secret messages in interviews if listened to backwards wearing headphones from TEMU {ok a bit of poetic license with that one}..and now to cap it all we have...a "Heel Balm Hunch" that could be transformational!!....I didn't actually make that one up!.....You could never ever make this stuff up. Whatever you do dont look at the share price its totally irrelevant of course!!
Nick I would say delusions of grandeur but I see where you are coming from with narcissism. The thing is here,I have studied BBs for years and things follow a predictable pattern. There is a Messiah, there are sycophantic followers who gang up on non believers and pseudo experts who tap into there computers from their council house bedrooms.[No offence intended,I grew up in a council house]
There is a Company of course that overpromises. Then it all goes wrong with big money losses, spitting venom and anger and tears, even pensions lost.
The Messiah says he doesn't do tips, actually made profits and walks away.
I hope it doesn't happen here.
What a s..t show this has become.
The ducks are lined up and the algorithm is counting the shopping baskets but that's about it.
I won't be buying back in at this price but good luck to those who fancy a 'top up'
OK no financials but the big big takeaway is absolute confirmation of product launch with sweetbiotix and more on the way this year. The launch of a sweetener of this type is actually perfect timing.Reports of the adverse effects of artificial sweeteners on the gut microbiome means the traditional sweeteners are on the way out and hopefully sweetbiotix is the one the industry goes for and then its game on and a complete transformation of the company is about to happen. The science is there and fits the criteria the big companies are after and we must assume after all this time they have got the taste right and the Stevia aftertaste is history.
I will not be surprised if governments start to legislate against standard artificial sweeteners and there will then be a rapid switch to prebiotic sweeteners and we are led to believe we are a leading light so this could be the moment we have waited a long time for.
It won't be too long before Stephen is plumping up this company for a sale so if I was younger I would tuck the shares away and forget about them for a while.I think this confirmation will be the start of a steady rise until the product arrives but we will have to see on that one.
Well I did say I would come back to add expertise re interpretation of study results! There is nothing like a percentage to generate a lot of stuff and nonsense.Lets look so far x per cent and y per cent? I love percentages..percentage of what the 220 participants?..What about drop outs? are they included yes no Assuming some dropped out then why did they drop out? Participants knew they were taking axisbiotix and knew the expected outcome from the nice researchers so its virtually impossible to make strong conclusions re efficacy.
Then we could look at the 220 participants..where did they come from who are they?[not there names although that could be interesting!] What was their other treatment chronology during the trial? Had they previously used axisbiotix? Are we sure they had acne?
Of course there are many more questions that need answering but I am simply trying to show how difficult it is to interpret results from such a study and on here will no doubt precipitate a load of nonsense from the usual suspects.
Now Axisbiotix may be a marvellous treatment for acne and I hope it is but there is a reason[in fact a few reasons] why the market has added a pinch of salt.
Just saying like
Pglancy
Yes see my apology on SBTX BB I mixed up Opti and SBTX and you were talking about selling Optis hares not SBTX.It was simply a mix up between the two shares nothing more sinister than that but of course I apologise for the mistake because accuracy is an obsession of mine.
Pglancy
Please accept my apologies. You did not say elrico had sold his SBTX share.I mixed up Opti and sbtx and it was on the opti board that you told me this re option shares and I thank you for this information. It was a simple mix up between the two shares something that has happened many times on here.
I certainly made no attempt to lie but obvious I apologise for the mistake.
Generally
I am concerned re my user name being mentioned in a post about this death threat.I am not sure what a meme is but (I have not emailed Elric for a couple of years and that was about statistical analysis and about being charged double for a subscription and he refunded this double charge.Maybe one of these is a meme but I dont want any confusion here as this could go seriously wrong.
To be clear I write quite a bit challenging Elric's opinion this share even though I held the share until recent times.Everyone including TW is getting involved in this so called death threat to Elric and if true it is despicable but I would treat this with caution until the facts are known.
To be clear I do not like the way Elric has promoted this share but I do not want to kill him and I did not send him a cartoon[in fact I am hopeless at drawing] which was suggested some months ago.
Again Pglancy I am sorry for mixing up SBTX and OPTI but this exaggerated comment from Elric about spreading misinformation is typical and only inflames the situation.
To my eyes this is all getting out of hand and as I have sold I will just look in unless I buy some more.Good luck to investors who are still in here.
Elric's pal pglancy recently answered a question of mine by telling us all that Elric had sold all his shares in SBTX and no longer writes about this company.
Just days later I see toyin posting a lemming investor link which says SBTX Update by Elric Langton!!...
I simply do not trust anything on here as being the truth.
Back to another question..This so called death threat...Has it been reported to the police?..Surely the answer must be yes!......
Just popped on to comment on the death threat to Elric.I would urge caution re simply accepting this as a given from a BB comment unless there is absolute proof re a death threat. It was once highly suggested on here that I had sent a cartoon to Elric with some negative connotation to it.However as it turned out I did not send a cartoon and never would.Whether a cartoon was ever actually sent I have no idea.
Now back to the death threat. If true that is terrible and is a serious crime and its sad to hear that if indeed it is true.I am sure Elric will send this threat to the police asap and if he hasn't I would urge him to do so.Maybe someone close to the situation can tell us if this serious crime has been reported.
