Ha ha lower very true.Alls well that ends well[hopefully]
I got lucky I know that but I will take a bit of luck anytime.
I have been in and out of this share for a few years but maybe it will now come good.
My 5K has grown significantly and I will now leave it in with the last 2 days profit after taking a bit off the table.
Im hoping that this SP utter madness had got a bit of rock solid info behind it which will soon be announced.
If its all speculation and hope then hold tight as anything could happen.
As far today Im ok you are ok......Life is good!
Pity Elrico sold up!!!!!
As soon as I knew he had sold I was convinced it was time to buy!
The dilemma at the moment is..should I top up or has that ship sailed for now? A bit of weakness on profit taking would tempt me back in but now?..I haven't got the nerve for it and Im clinging onto my unexpected profits.
I see Elrico has resurrected himself on this site,I expect he will be claiming credit for the rise very soon.
It's a good post shandypants. I am back in on the momentum but I am astonished at the rise on a summary of facts that are already known.I am hoping that it means someone knows a bit more but more likely its a remarkable over reaction in our favour. Its going to run out of steam soon surely but at the moment I am clawing my losses back.I have skimmed off a bit of profit because I remember the 130 days and the pain of watching my money vanish!
All this on a Reach RNS that told us what we already knew. Its difficult to understand but Im happy as I got my bet on.
I wonder if most of the action comes from old investors like me who cut and run with losses but now desperate not to miss out on a chance to get some money back.I just wish I had gone back in at 6p rather than 10 something but hey lets enjoy this upward move.
Elrico will be on today claiming the credit for the price movement!
Yes Adyan Im agreeing that must be the explanation.Ive lost or gained my nerve whichever way you look at it and made a panic buy out of fear of missing out.My 5K is down for a 5 bagger. That would give me my losses back so very nice it would be.SOH has given me some reassurance re the patents and I had doubts re our product[yes our product} being truly novel but he has answered that.
There is no doubt the update was a good idea and hope my buying doesn't mess this up for all of you.
I am now a proud shareholder so expect a different tone.Fickle I may be but I do like a gamble.
Well I missed an opportunity there to have a second go with my 5K gamble.SOH obviously reads my posts and has had a go at answering a couple of questions which is fair enough and a good thing. However he has not addressed why the WHO put Stevia derivatives in its list of supplements to avoid. To my knowledge it didn't say pre fibre products were an exception.
The remarkable thing here is that there was absolutely nothing new in the update yet a big jump in the SP.Its almost certain that a big drop will follow so I dare not step in here.Interestingly those people who sold yesterday ahead of the update actually thought the reaction would be negative!
I dont know what to make of this but if I had made that 30 per cent in 24 hours it would now be safely in my pocket. As it is my timing was hopeless[as my wife has told me] and Ive missed out.
Can anyone explain a 30 per cent price hike on news that isn't actually news?
Its a very sad place on here. This share is clearly going down the pan but the usual suspects behave in their delusional way trying to talk it up.
Ive lost money here and I am one of many and I just dont see any way back.It astonishes me that people can be so blind to the so obvious.
The pseudo experts on here should have a lot to answer for but they will just go off and behave in the same way talking nonsense about another share.
Let me tell you something about life with respect to the jobs I mention....If you want to learn something about the complexities of the microbiome it's best not to ask a bricklayer from Rotherham or a travelling brush salesman from Manchester...............Just saying like!
I find it remarkable[NOT!} that elrico and gang do not want to discuss the effect of the WHO report on the production and marketing of Sweetbiotix derived from Stevia.
Surely such a fantastic researcher like Elrico who is far superior to the rest of us must realise the importance of such considerations.
To remind Elrico...The report states that supplements derived from Stevia should not be used as a sweetener because of negative health benefits.
If someone says[and they will]..well we have monk fruit then this needs quantifying surely with detail on which drinks and foodstuffs would Coca Cola and others consider putting Opti's version of monk fruit in?
Now lets have a recap. As I now understand it Optibiotix have a suite of products in the sweetbiotix range[maybe9 maybe more variations of a theme]
Now some of these are derived from Stevia and some from another plant. How many of which is the important thing.I would guess most are derived from Stevia. The question is ..will Coca Cola and others have any interest in replacing Aspartame with a substance the WHO says should not be used as a food supplement ie Stevia products...How much has this WHO damaged the Stevia Sweetbiotix and the demand for these products.
Looking at the share price maybe quite a lot of damage.Sweetbiotix is seen as the saviour but now we have a complication. Will Optibiotix have to park its Stevia derived sweetbiotix and concentrate on monk fruit?..Has it the capacity to do this and most important..Has the interest from Coca Cola et al been dampened big time?
Instead of the obfuscation produced by the usual suspects on here ..these are the important questions. The share price movement looks very concerning and makes me wonder if sweetbiotix has hit the buffers.I hope not because Im hoping to give my 5K gamble another go if the SP drops much further.
Quite a good interview with O'Hara talking about slimbiome.Comparing Wygovy like drugs and slimbiome however is apples and pears. There is no comparison Wygovy/Ozempic products blow slimbiome meal replacements out of the water but I agree slimbiome is an alternative to think about not least taking into account the cost and lack of availability of the drugs.
Instead of dummies ,crisps, snacks impregnated with slimbiome Opti should develop an appetite suppressant daily tablet aimed at weight loss maintenance in my opinion....or maybe as well as if its all about making a bit of money by encouraging crisp eating.
O'Hara seems obsessed with gummies but he may know more than me re the demand for such a product.
All in all a good interview for a change and he sold the product quite well
