Interesting debate-not sure what is to do with AMA. I have a simple strategy-invest, sell original at 100% profit. I research, confident in my findings, and unless material change will hang on. That is for smaller AIM stocks- other's I hold for Div etc-but they are main board. Anyway AMA will prosper I am sure, and as the company develops should be less reliant on Gold Price-as said before Sega will kick in Q4. We should see appraisal reports in Q4 for new mines.
Macau flats rise tipped Friday, October 04, 2013 Residential and commercial property prices in Macau are expected to climb by 15 to 20percent and 30percent, respectively, this year. Savills Macau, which made the forecast, said property prices also grew at a similar pace in 2012. http://www.thestandard.com.hk/news_detail.asp?we_cat=2&art_id=138176&sid=40542491&con_type=1&d_str=20131004&fc=7
Was surprised at buy-assumed they were in a close period as NAV due any moment. Doubt a MBO- to complex to value unquoted and why would they ?
I have asked the question. The net cash positions of the Group were RMB2,374.4 million and RMB2,388.1 million at 31 December 2012 and30 June 2012 respectively.. Nearer to 8p a share I think. Still makes the Company very good value- looks like we will see good earnings growth over next two years. But may have got my figures wrong re XRate.
Libra is a committed seller as they wind down fund-not an issue re AMA-they are flogging everything. But not stupid and will sell at sensible vols. Remember they have no concern for future value, the fund is being wound up. AMA is in my opion under-valued -Q4 will show a positive cash flow as Sega kicks in.
MPO must be buying in as large sales showing-not sure they are correct as price has risen. Or a large investor who realsies how cheap this Macau property play is.
I am re-looking at NAV- i think I have made an error as to true value, was looking at depreciated figures. I am doing more research and will update shortly
Ibstock is part of CRH Plc.
Pijjad, Niborand turbovb2 not sure what your issue is, Since rarely any-one posts on this site I am assuming you are just dullards trying to de-ramp. Do the usual and report and get rid of the irriation which takes away from sensible posts. Do you really think we would listen to your ramblings.
The cash costs for Sega will be $700/oz but as that ore has only just started being processed, the cash costs are currently much higher $1473 in Q2 . AMA were processing the last of the Kalsaka ore and that was low grade, which had a negative impact on costs. The cash costs in Q3 will still be fairly high as AMA were still processing Kalsaka ore, but from Q4 they will improve as the Sega ore starts to come through. This is all in the share price and as reported in last statement. The new Mines have huge potential and Sega will generate good income over the next 12 months.
Given Sale and rises in Macau property prices I would expect next NAV to be £2.75. Give it a 10 % discount and shares should be trading circa £2.47. Have a look at discounts on listed Property Investment Trusts. Company is buying in shares, so my estimated NAV will probably be low. The Company will have a wind up date-either next year or may ask shareholders for an extension-which I guess will be granted. But still in my opinion at low risk investment. But do research.
Bit annoyed-waiting for new pension to get into SIPP-taken age due to some issue re Final payment pension transfer. Resolved to-day-but too late before the rise(it will take 3 weeks for funds to be available)-and that is genuine.Well annoyed, but pleased it look's like going well. I will probably buy more anyway-agree Japan and rest should be OK. Got in cheap, so a small rise is not a major issue.
Have a look at last accounts and statement. Sega is $700. There are other options also available. This is a fast growing company, good management and two new major mines potentially coming on-line. I have total confidence in them, and the fact Gold will recover-although even at circa $1300 Gold not a major issue for AMA at the moment. The movement of the share price in relation to Gold price is actually not based on facts re current costs. But my opinion of course, check it out please.
RNS was good news-looks like things are progressing well.
Despite drop in Gold Price not sure Market fully understands this stock. No matter . The company will be releasing the results of the Baomahun optimisation work and a further Yaoure resource update in Q4. I gather currently on track to deliver both of these news items in Q4 as news comes in.
I was told about AVAP by a friend who know I like shares at a discount to NAV with good earnings potential. As far as I can see AVAP has NAV of £1.25 per share. Does look very cheap. I left the City in late 1980's. I tend to focus on london listed shares-some of which are China based but quoted in London. I will have a look at BPM.
Not sure what is going on-huge buying to-day re sellers-but no price movement. I can only assume some off market selling going on, but why anyone would sell unclear. Potentially fund could be wound up next year. Very strange.
In my opinion this stock is well undervalued. Sega is producing income at $700. News re Yaoure and Baomahun will I am sure be positive and hope for news in the next few months. The market has got this stock wrong-moves down too much with small movement with Gold price. Short to Medium term I am hoping to see this move up significantly. Best managed low cap gold miner without huge debt.
I am aware of Medtronic. I just believe in LMT "Aorfix™ endovascular stent graft, our flagship product, addresses previously unmet clinical need for a conformable and flexible graft in the rapidly growing global abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) market. " But am aware a competitive market. Cheers
I worked in the I.T industry in the 1980's. I would expect a well managed fund producing good returns to trade a pemium to NAV. Expectation of future growth.Just my opinion. I am looking forward to next NAV- hopefully will be in the region I expect. As said before I hope the company will let us know quoted holdings. Pretty confident of the future follow SUMM and PLE, but not i directly nvested-chose this route.
