RE: Oil prices have soared by 5% as Iran threatens to wage a 'full scale economic war' by attacking energy facilities across the Middle East in response to a missile strike at one of its gas plants. Energy sites in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar have been evacuated after Tehran warned it would hit them with strikes in 'the coming hours'. 'These centres have become direct and legitimate targets and will be targeted in the coming hours,' the Islamic Republic warned.18 Mar 2026 16:54
Only 1 week ago the banks were predicting upto $150 if the war went on another 4 weeks without oil coming out of the middle east, $109 hit today for brent,so european areas, not good for ireland then.. luckily norway has discovered a huge gas field in the north of the north sea blocks. britain has said its going to get another windmill and destroy a farm by planting solar panels that will leach metals into the soil making it impossible to return the land for crops.. does anyone know what a solar panel tastes like with fish as the potatoes cant be planted again! NO CHIPS! and ceo,s of energy firms were asking mad milliband last week to open up the north sea, nothing yet... on a plus investers here will be ok with higher energy bills, as preds assets in t.t. and morocco just jumped 9% in two days then?
