What absolute tosh. Lawyers would have a field day over it? Please direct me to that law firm. I would gladly pay out transport coats to see that in a British Court. The gallery would be packed, or maybe not. It is an error, human. It is not criminal nor is it civil beyond maybe the FCA having a look...are they going to? AIM, NO. I would love to see a law firm take this to court. In the public interest, NO. Necessary or proportionate? NO. Any link or connection to balance of probability. NO, as irrelevant. It is a typo. Humans make mistakes and because of the reasons given above no one would take this further. Ridiculous. Spending two weeks on a comma, hmmm, I doubt very much, but not impossible. One would have to see the context of the sentence and the relevant legislation. If we are talking about new legislation, or a particular stated case, then of course grammar can change the meaning significantly. For example...Lets eat Grandma. Let's eat, Grandma. It is sloppy. Not the first time with WRES, but it definitely ain't going legal. Funny.
