RE: Business Model?22 Jun 2025 18:16
Kaisersuzae - The idea that QBT could become a strategic acquisition target hinges on the value of its intellectual property—particularly its R&D in quantum computing, blockchain optimization, and AI-driven crypto mining.
As of now, QBT has a market cap of around £13–14 million, with a share price around the 0.90p mark - it may well be in excess of that come 8.00 a.m. tomorrow :) That’s modest, especially considering the company’s focus on cutting-edge tech. If their proprietary methods prove commercially viable with the mentioned companies in last weeks RNS , it could indeed attract attention from larger players in fintech or crypto infrastructure.
However, there’s no public indication yet of acquisition interest. It Could well be worth a lot—but that is like my thoughts earlier pure speculation than grounded valuation. Still, if QBT’s IP delivers measurable performance gains and can be scaled or licensed (e.g., via SaaS), its valuation could rise significantly.
Next week could show us the direction and intentions, which ultimately have probably been well mapped out by QBT, considering they knew that A,B& C are able to be commercialised. They have surprised a lot of sceptics so far - I wouldn't b e surprised if they raised a few eyebrows again.
See you all tomorrow morning - maybe fastest fingers first tomorrow !!!
