I sold half of my holding at 4.x.

My current plan is to buy back in if/when new equity is offered by the company. This means that my funds will directly support the project.

I get that - for tax purposes, a loss is only a loss if you sell.

But for me personally, I consider that I have lost 80% of my investment. I don’t need to sell and buy back in to cement that loss into my mindset.

Each to their own.

In that case, I have £25k invested in my 10 year old Mondeo.

I have £6k invested but it cost me somewhat more than £6k.

Yesterday I saw two options.

1. My investment is wiped out as the company enters Administration.
2. A plan is hatched to reach production and my investment is not wiped out.

My initial thoughts on the RNS are that Option 2 is more likely than Option 1. And that is a good thing.

I have been invested here since 2013.

I built up 250,000 shares before the crash. I offloaded half of them at 4.x and kept the remainder.

I want SM to succeed. I want LTH to be rewarded for their investments. Without these, there would be no Woodsmith Mine.

But, the market is cruel. The dark forces that have likely lobbied our ministers and politicians and paid The Times to cast negativity on our project are corrupt. The potash cartel want SM to fail. Our Conservative Government have dined our at our expense and yet have been swayed to deny SM of the support that even Russell Scrimshaw said was essential.

The shares that I hold will either drop to nothing or return some reward for my loyalty.

Brexit isn’t the problem. The failure to leave in March is.

Supporting SM would be easier if we had left due to State Aid rules laid down by the EU.

That is a possibility. But I guess nobody knows for sure. What I am confident of is that investing in our economy will be easier if we leave the EU.

Our government needs to be involved.

My view is that if the project cannot be supported by our own government then the project plan must be seriously flawed. If that is the case, the government should be working with the National Park Authority to restore the splendour of the Park and putting an end to the Project.

So, it really is time to make a clear commitment to get this mine built, to kickstart the Northern Powerhouse and to bring hope to a forgotten corner of the U.K.

I hope the Conservatives are wiped out in the North. I’ll be voting for Nigel.

My position is that I sold half at 4.1p but still hold 125,000 shares. I’ve lost more than I’m comfortable with but not enough to change my life. I guess I could have had a newer car depreciating on my drive.

Neither leader can promise to deliver anything without the support of the Civil Service mandarins and their advisors. Their advice has been that failure is a likelihood rather than merely a risk.

Corbyn, of course, will promise the world but will deliver disaster.

The country needs to get B...... done and move on in the brave new world, free of the ties of the corrupt EU. SM need to attract backing from somewhere other than HMG.

Nissan’s concern is that the EU could impose tariffs if 15% on cars exported to the EU. I’m sure a similar tariff on cars imported to the U.K. from the EU would see a surge in Nissan sales here in the U.K.

My next car will not be made in the EU.

My shares were once worth £80k. If they are now worth £7k I feel like I’ve lost £73k but of course, I didn’t pay £80k for them.

I know people who held/hold millions of the little blighters. We don’t talk about it.
