You asked if I have sold up, no I am holding against all fundamental analysis logic in the hope of a miraculous resurrection after the price has tested LTI's now over-rated calculation of the company's break-up value. The total value of my holding is relative peanuts so the book losses less so. It's what I call a sleeper share: forget about it, maybe one day I'll see it struck off, or suddenly see it worth something worth selling.

I fear more likely the former but hope for the latter. Irrationally.

These 39m shares are the shares which can be bought by people who can EXERCISE (viz pay into the company) their warrants at 4p a share and then immediately sell them to you or me at nearly 3 times the price. Even if you thought the company had prospects, what would you do as an ex-warrant shareholder? Surely sell enough shares at over 11p to leave you with your original stake "costing" nothing?

James, surely the exercise of warrants (paying money into the company) would never show up as a trade. Trades only reflect deals on the secondary market, and warrant holders who exercise can either hold or sell their shares (at 150% profit at 10p). Or of course buy yet more at 150% more than they paid for their warrant shares.

Someone wrote yesterday that if the price got back to somewhere aspirational (like much more than it is now) it would in some way be good for the company financially, apparently believing that when shares are bought or sold on the secondary market, the money in some ways goes to the company. It doesn't of course: it goes into the pocket of the person already owning the shares which is this case is most likely to be someone who was smart enough to become entitled to the warrants enabling him to buy at 4p and immediately sell at 10p.

I admire your faith and enthusiasm as I remain a tiny holder (bit more than 87p -- who ARE these people??) at something under 5p.

But do you REALLY believe JS has ever bought any shares, and if so why have his purchased all the way down not stabilised the price more? And why do they not show up on the share trade records?

I only realised recently that some people think that people's opinions here can actually move the share price. Why would anyone buy or sell for any other reason than some fundamental analysis of what a company's assets or future earnings are worth?

Don't you mean SOLD. The warrant could pay 4p and get shares they could immediately sell for a pound. Even at 20p its a guaranteed fivefold profit. What would you do?

Sorry if that's what he claims to have done in within the last few days, he proves himself to be the liar he effectively called me when I explained how I had made money on MAST. He might have made 30% or so if he really got in under 3p. Maybe he has actually learned something at last: how to have a flutter and GAMBLE on little substance (Fund raising is unlikely to be good news long term for existing holders.)

Ticket: But NAV doesn't have a direct correlation to share price.

There is a sad poster called LongTermInvestor who has posted nearly 33 THOUSAND times on the MET1 board, arguing why the share should be at a discount to NAV, while failing entirely to understand why some of us like a gamble and are prepared to ignore the fundamentals if the share prices is screaming something different. For some reason he is silent on this board, so be thankful for small mercies. Sadly he may be right that both MET1 and MAST may be scams designed for the benefit of some clever warrant holders and market manipulators: but that hasn't stopped me playing. However if the LSE were up to the job, the people behind both shares should probably be having their collars felt.

Making a mistake: Me too chum, though for the moment I am out of MAST having more than recouped my initial tiny ££ losses (though big %).

But at least we both went in with our eyes open -- who couldn't be with over 32,000 identical posts from poor old LTI who just doesn't understand why some of us can be so stupid as to enjoy such flutters. I expect he advises against the 14m to 1 chances on the lottery too.

At least MAST seems to be approaching reality faster than MET1 has as the warrant shareholders rush for the exits faster. May produce more dead cat bounces if the MMS are playing too?

Can't you grasp that it is quite possible to buy before a fall, and then when the price falls very much below where it subsequently bounced back to to gamble more than the tiny amount I had started with and end up with a profit. Just like I did with my first expensive purchase of Met 1, though I now remain a holder at much less over NAV. But why are you having this conversation here, are you afraid of the MAST board? What's our NAV calculation for them? And the updated one for MET 1 taking account of cash burn. 1.75p is SO yesterday!

Could you clarify, is this in addition to the 16m or whatever you and your "consortium" claimed to have previously held, or did you crystallise your previous huge book losses? If so I hope you are tax resident in the Uk rather than Dubai where at least they have some tax loss value for you. Unlike me, mine are in an ISA, but only peanuts.

As previously you have said this so many times before, is it hardly worth it any more when we are so close to your out of date and now overgenerous Nav calculations? Try contributing something NEW with an updated NAV calculations based on the last cash burn information.

How big a discount would entice YOU to buy this share -- on the same basis you might any other IT? If at all.

And why will you not share the benefit of your mathematically analytical wisdom with all the gamblers on the MAST board, who like me will have gambled irrationally way above NAV and come out very nicely thank you. My crystallised profits there outweigh my losses here, which is why I think you will find some of us are [irrationally] still holding. It's a gamble. Swings and roundabouts; something you'll never understand.

LTI: NO POST on the MAST board

as though that suggests he has not pointed out the sad parallels between their OM and MET1s and surely imlicitly warning everyone off MAST for the same reasons he warned us off MET1 (premium over NAV).

As I have made small amounts of gambling money from the irrational moves of both shares, I would really appreciate him posting his calculation of the current NAV for MAST and the future warrant share dilution potential, but ON THE MAST SITE, or tell us why not.

Oh and those of you teasing him that he is usually right, he really isn't. He has been consistently right about MET1's premium to NAV, and the parallels with MAST, but can't see why some of us will gamble a little nevertheless; but is pig ignorant about the role of MMs (and resorts to AI to back up his claims with a nonsense extract) and lacks any empathy for market psychology.

So if his work is done here and he's proved right that it's 2p or less before Christmas (BTW is that a buy??) I hope he'll have the decency to let MAST readers share his wisdom and leave us alone.

Yes, and like many of you I hope it does as I seem to have bought on the way down. But with the impending warrant share conversions, it may only be a dead cat bounce.

I have been around a long time but cannot unhesitant these trifling deals with sellers at 3.35 or whatever. Do we think these are slow-off-the mark ex-warrant holders who didn't get out early enough and hope by dribbling out their ill gotten gains they can still nearly double their money?

Since it worked so well for them I have decided imitation is the best form of flattery and have punted [only] a few hundred pounds in their latest iteration, MAST. I have done this with absolutely no knowledge of the fundamentals, solely on the basis that it a potential gambling stock which might make me a few bob or not; just like MET 1. This is why all the warnings in the world from LTI are out of place except for novice investors: I must now check to see if he is as vigilant in warning MAST investors on their site of the wickedness of their ways. (BTW I am currently up over 4% in MAST but don't expect it to last. I will do the diluted NAV calculations on their site if LTI doesn't beat me to it).

Scroll down, he keeps telling us a bit over 5p, but the result of averaging down. JS claims to have done similar with very much more money. Personally I think they are both crazily over-exposed unless worth many millions more than me. I lie with my 85000 holding because mentally I have written it off.

I made money on the way down from the bounces when all I was chasing was a fast moving stock, when the fundamentals were clearly totally irrelevant (a trading rationale poor old LTI will never grasp), got tempted in again when chartist lows were tested EVEN THOUGH AT A PREMIUM to any of the valuation models I outlined yesterday. I'll either lose a few £k I can afford to, or maybe recoup my stake and stay in for the ride. Only regret it's in an ISA so the losses are no use for tax, but it's peanuts.
