Disappointed that Anne is leaving. But is she has been offered an exceptional offer then cannot blame her - we would probably do the same thing..
But she is staying in place for 6 months to see the pre-clinical studies though for NXP002 and NXP004. So that shows to me that she is committed and that she expects good results from them.
Perhaps Dan is the man to get back - hopefully Anne should have largely organised and sorted the pre-clinical work in next 6 months and made initial contacts with potential partners - then Dan returns and picks up the reins.

I think Anne and Joanne have done a great job getting several studies up and running so quickly. Anne comes across as very considered and capable.

Soup - I have been under impression that at least two studies have been under wy on NXP002 for some time now.

They say studies in the plural.
'NXP002 is the Company's pre-clinical lead asset and a potential novel inhaled treatment for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). It is a repurposed, new form of the drug tranilast, to be delivered in an inhaled formulation. As previously communicated, Nuformix planned to perform additional pre-clinical studies to generate a more robust data package with the goal of increasing the value of this asset and rendering it more attractive to licensing partners. Since completing the successful fundraise in March 2021, studies have commenced on these activities through outsourced expert contract organisations.'

Could well see them awarded options in coming days - now that sp so low.

A little more information on current R&D activities etc and the potential of their drugs.
It may be the white stuff I sprinkled on my cornflakes BUT overall I do get a better sense of optimism about the companies future.

I wonder whether they already have some initial data from current R&D to encourage them.

Oxilio negotiations are still ongoing for a global license deal.

Hi RWT2 you seem to have ignored this headlined aspect.
'CE Delft recently conducted a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) that looked into the environmental impact of cell-cultured meat when produced at commercial scales. The results are based on a production scenario for 2030, in which ambitious sustainability benchmarks were set for conventional products to ensure any conclusions regarding cultivated meat were as robust as possible. Processing energy, medium quantity and medium composition were identified as the three most significant contributions to the environmental impact of cell-cultured meat. A key point highlighted in the report is that a switch to sustainable energy sources across the production chain will be vital to maximise the environmental benefits of cell-cultured meat; switching to sustainable energy will reduce its carbon footprint by as much as 80%. When utilising sustainable energy sources, cell-cultured meat stands out as the most environmentally friendly option for all meat production in 2030.'

Whilst all investors would love to have such information about a companies business development, I am not sure I have ever seen any company in any sector provide the information you seem to be asking for, let alone in the pharma industry where company's tend to jealously guard such information, plus it would undermine any discussions that they might be having (remember the infamous Times leak).
You say "If they don't see potential in NXP002 then why are we prioritising it over other products?" - seems an odd comment as they have prioritised NXP002 - so presumably they do see potential in it - when have they said that they do not see potential in it?

We do not know what share options (or the exercise prices) Anne was given when she joined.
The next full accounts will presumably reveal the situation.

I have always assumed that Chris Blackwell was the link to the Oxilio agreement - based upon the coincidence that Chris lives in Kidlington, Oxfordshire (OX5 3HJ) and that Oxilio are registered in Sterling House, Kidlington (OX5 2DH), only about 1 mile away and that Ralph Browning lives just a short distance away in Oxford with Simon Yaxley living about 30 miles away in Goring.

Your comments about Oxilio are interesting - 'they seem middlemen who have reach to Pharma companies' - and may well be the case.
Could be reason for timescale to deal.

You are quite right re Blackwell - indeed Blackwell did a good job in getting the current BOD in place.
I was being too general in my comments and I should have been more specific.

Agree Chablard - 18th September 2015 - a sad indictment of the previous BOD's speed of progress - however the data should still be valid from that work and it sounds very positive.
Anne's speed of progress to-date is really highlighting the previous BOD's lack of progress.

The links, particularly the Vectura one, are encouraging re previous inhalation work carried out.
