Directors will only sell and make any profit when sp is much higher than now.

Things moving at speed.

I was becoming intrigued by recent trade prices - so I did some dummy trades on Barclays.

Todays buy trades were at 1.87 or above.

While obviously sell trades were 1.83 or lower.

As is often the case the mid-point of the bid and offer does not determine whether a trade is a buy or sell.

RNS on 21/06/2018 states 300m shares

We currently have 5.8 billion shares.

Which I make 21.7 times and 19.3 times more shares respectively.

CPX looks to be turning the corner in all aspects including hopefully profits and the sp is looking good last few days, but keep it realistic.

Any comparison to previous years is a bit far-fetched.

We now have 22 times as many shares as in 2015!

We now have 20 times as many shares as in 2018!

Yes - I agree - it is intensely irritating when people repeatedly post the same things day after day.

The last few RNS's, plus Lenigas's various posts, look like Wishbone management are carrying out a massive pump, which unless they are extraordinarily lucky, will surely end in the mother of all dumps.

On the back of the recent share rise the directors seem to have forward sold sufficient shares to fund their recent share purchase, so that unlike us shareholders, they have not dipped into their own pockets at all!

The history of Wishbone is far from pretty, but yet the management make a very nice living from it - and now we have David Lenigas involved!

The 'Estate of William Black' have been selling, as per the recent TR-1's.

Last TR-1 had him below 3%.

The guy must have sadly passed away and his family are therefore closing his accounts and shares.

Been following the large sells over the last week or so and I believe they may well have just about sold all his remaining shares now.

Just noticed.

Shown listed late on yesterday’s LSE trades page are large late trades for both yesterday and on Friday that just coincidently total around the £300k mark.

Now could it be that the directors have already forward sold sufficient, over the previous two trading days, to fund their share purchases (230,769,230 at 0.13p = £300K) and that their remaining shares from the fundraise are all free carry for them now!

While it would be a financially sensible thing to do – it would mean they have not put their hands in their pockets at any point to get these shares unlike us poor pi schmucks!

Be interesting to see what they declare over the next few days.

Companies can apply for orphan status directly themselves or use specialist submission companies who are versed in the submission requirements and application process.

This was Dan's verbatim response to a specific question:

Q. How long is getting orphan drug status likely to take?

A. 3 months if we can start now.

So there is no room in that answer for a two month pre-submission delay.

I think we just have to wait until the second or the fourth week of June to see what transpires and if anything has been submitted.

Looking back at the minutes of a couple of COMP meetings it seems that between 50% and 66% of applications at the 60 day meeting are asked to supply more data and/ or an oral explanation at the next (90 day) COMP meeting. (based upon March and February 2024 meeting minutes). Or to put it another way, 33% to 50% of applications are given a positive orphan opinion at their 60 day COMP meeting. But it still has to be rubber stamped by the formal EMA meeting a few (about 4) weeks later. before it is officially granted.

Yes I agree Soup - there is the option that a company can have a pre-submission meeting a couple of months before submitting 'If a sponsor feels they could benefit from a preliminary discussion before the submission of an orphan drug'.

But the guidance does not say that they should have a pre-submission meeting it is optional.
