Houses are so much cheaper up north, in 1991 myself and the ex-wife purchased our first house, a tiny 2 bed end of terrace £59250 it was crippling, I think our mortgage rate was close to 15%

Just imagine if the average U.K. mortgage went up to that level now :((

My son has just purchased a house with a £190,000 mortgage but the interest rate is only 1.76% ish, I got him to fix it for 5 years

I had an 8 track in one of my old cars, loved it ....

Dinner out was very nice indeed, we are off out again today on good old rishi...Italian :)

I don’t think people will be calling him “good old rishi soon” :( I was having a read yesterday about some of his proposals, anyone with a bit of money will be targeted... so I’m ok lol

As for Dmtr I see it being a slow and steady year or two, then hopefully it will build like pushing a snow ball down the hill, fingers crossed
