Yep, I got £16 + shares as part of my remuneration package which would equate to £1,600 per share back in 1983!!!! Plus profit sharing plus an annual performance bonus of 10% due to performing outstanding ( top 5% ) in the scale of 1 -5, 3 being average.
BIFU ruined that in later years and I remember when they fought against private medical health care managers benefitted
from in their remuneration package. Unions were suppose d to maintain terms and conditions not reduce staff benefits. Lols
