Russia has gone to war over oil price for mainly for political reasons. Mr Putin needs to make up lost revenue to keep the show on the road. Russia doesn't have such easy access to the money markets. All involved are wanting and pushing for the mining assets to be monitised.You have to think if not now, when. Situation is still great, nobody's dropped the ball. Still convinced no low offer needs to be entertained. If MT goes for 3 billion dollars, there's still maybe 40 billion in profit to be made over the next 20years

In these very troubling times all shareholder's can remain relaxed that we have a great company here that can still achieve a great deal. I'm still looking for North of 60p a share, anything less would indicate mining ourselves. Be patient and all will come good.

Of lend, extend and pretend. At least this time it's not to bail out a load of over priveledged bankers. This whole terrible episode now unfolding may make future governments enact contingency plans for disasters which come along in time. I suggest running huge deficits should probably stop. When the bill lands for this those still with money and assets will have to pay. It will not be easy or popular.

Some in the world have plenty of cash. There is definitely no shortage even in these dark times. The real quandary is how to keep money safe and get a return. The now cancelled JV was hugely more expensive than buying MT and also many years to become profitable. Eurasia assets are local to NN and shovel ready so will quickly add to revenues.

The fact that NN wanted to invest many billions in a JV that now isn't happening has to be good for us. If NN reduce dividend again good for us as it leaves more funds available to buy MT. When the facts change then NN strategy has to change. These recent developments are positive for Eurasia, especially as a deficit in PGMs is still on the cards.

Do have sympathy with some on here who now need access to funds locked up, but although there is some present pain, the return on investment still looks promising. Maybe a resolution to current situation will soon be seen. All involved have a common purpose which means we can remain optimistic.

Who what have thought we'd be living in these strange times. Unfortunately like major life events they can just appear out of a clear blue sky. Now although it probably is inappropriate I would like to share thoughts on Eurasia mining. Probably a bit like a Swan seems like the bit you see nothing much happening but those feet out of sight are working hard. I feel more convinced now than ever that NN will soon buy all or most of the company,especially as the JV with Artic Palladium has been terminated, and assurances have been given to Putin that there will be output growth. Probably not the sort of man you say, sorry I couldn't do it. Still feel news will come later this week but in todays crises maybe wrong by a large margin. One thing to say on CV, in the local hospital a 50 year didn't pull through, it happened very quickly. Obviously some people have little reserves to fight this horrible virus. I'm still working but being very careful.

I notice the pound has dropped a lot especially against the dollar, so if sold most likely in dollars should mean more pounds. Could be clutching at straws in these rather depressing times. On a person note being self employed I find I'm living on edge, hoping for work which comes in one day at a time. Felixstowe dock is quietest I've seen in 23 years!!. Got 4 days last week and maybe a full house this week, everything crossed. Just 50p here and I can let someone else have my job. Maybe, maybe.

So far another bad day on the stock market. Read an article from chap who predicted the 2007/8 financial crises said he expected a couple more dips in shareprices over the coming months. All quite vague but doesn't inspire confidence in there being a bottom followed by a sustained improvement. The 1929 crash took a long time to recover from with a few false dawns. Let's hope for a quick resolution, best hope is a vaccine. May come sooner than usual as there is a substantial global effort.

Hi Ian glad to the eye op has gone well and a speedy full recovery. To all here if you get the virus, I hope you bat it away as soon as possible. On a personal note I'm doing a bit of exercise and eating and drinking as healthily as I can, so if or when virus hits I can show it the red card. Now back to eurasia, maybe that mining operations are now starting, which would be great so we get a revenue stream. As far as sale goes still believe it will happen within the month. The world economy will heal and move on, maybe after a vaccine has been deployed, but I think the new normal will make most a bit poorer for a number of years. I still think that the fundamentals for eurasia mining are great, but maybe returns won't be quite so juicy for the buyer. I trust the BOD not to do the easy thing and sell its assets at a knock down price. The journey to get where we are has been long and had its fair share of difficulties. Lots of understandable fear and disappointment is obviously around. A couple of points to keep in mind, firstly the cost of mining here is world beating and secondly we are not distressed sellers. I feel sure DS isn't going to have a rush of blood to the head and sell for a give away price. We still have a unique money making asset that is capable of yielding great rewards for all involved from bankers, buyers and of course shareholders. Now to me it still makes perfect sense for NN to buy especially as the economics work far better than their artic push. Now even if the wheels have come off the global economy they could buy and hold just like builder's do with a land bank. Personally I'm still expecting a deal of some sort around 60p,if not let's develop it ourselves. GLA, sill expect news late next week.

At this rate soon the ftse will at 2012 levels, seems quite an over reaction taking place. When the upturn comes it could be quite quick.

Doing quite well, not affected YET!!

Standard greetings to all shipmates. Justed looked at palladium price, been battered a bit but not so bad. Its now around the price it was in mid January, unlike global stock markets. I'm guessing bottom of ftse is around 5100,may start buying sub 5400.At the moment still doing quite delivering container, but had letter saying soon lots of usual vessel arrivals not happening.

Anglo American down over 10%, last weeks bad news can't have helped. Lots of investor's money on paper is vanishing. Typical over reaction.
