Big whoop, bit of a delay in RNS, still plenty of time and still plenty of PGMs. As Voltaire said, obviously in French, it translates, the earth swarms with people who are not worth talking to. GLA HOLDERS.
From memory I think only 246 million shares are in private investors hands, that's just under 9% of the share capital, so any thoughts it's a 24 year scam to rip us off is really for the fairies. For me the longer the wait the better the news. Now the news could be submitted to the RNS on Friday but will only be published on a normal work day. Now that would be quite something. What a start to the week!!.
Hope you're a fellow West ham fan, if not please don't take offence. I run my own artic so diesel around 30k per year. As work is OK, not great I took a quick profit. I got in at 227 so probably a bit lucky on the timing. I agree medium term this is a good business. Good luck to all holders.
The way I interpreted the Wed night message, if correct, always thought sometime tomorrow is more likely. Although I wouldn't rule out late this afternoon. GLA, I'm sure we'll all be well rewarded.
Just wanted to point out the last RNS was basically a housekeeping one to inform the market that the contract with Nomad was terminated. This has no bearing on the news if it arrives in the next day or so indicated by the poster from last Wed night. Let's not pre judge, best to discuss Thursday evening. Good night and good luck for the near future.
If not now when? Personally the next logical step if we haven't done any one of a multitude of different deals with MT is to mine ourselves, which for many of us may not be the preferred option. I still think its going to be NN, shares and cash or just cash. Expecting something BIG.
It's usually good to buy quality. I too believe the market is mis pricing Aviva. I can understand some gloom here for a couple of obvious reasons, but the figures and sector should remain more buoyant than many. People and businesses have to have insurance products. If we see significant drops my reaction will probably be to just buy more. You never know we might have a great afternoon, especially as Trumps gonna say its gonna be beautiful with all that bail out money. I can see some inflation down the line. More important than ever to have great assets.
Jobs OK today, at my 6am delivery in Winchester. Getting about 1500 tyres unloaded. Felixstowe still very quiet, but I've kept going. Had just 3 days off so far this year and one of those was due to high winds. Let's hope this difficult year gets better soon. ALB Nick.
I note simply wall street have fair value here at £7.50,meaning a near 70% under priced asset. I bought yesterday and intent to average both up and down, depending on liquid funds. Feel the gloom may have been overdone, in these bad times this seems like a robust business. GLA, just my opinion.
Bought in again at 2.27,I'm hopingthird time lucky. Bought and sold here twice for fish and chip money. Feel a bit happier with today's price. Good luck all holder's. Surely its got to recover soonish. Will watch carefully.
Hi Ian, I to intend to remain invested here under almost all scenarios. The anticipation of the upcoming stream of news is quite something. It's probably like knowing you've put your money on the winning horse but you don't know the odds that are being paid out. Remain very positive.
Today on simply wall street fair value is £9.23, looks a bit toppy. Note that about 240 million shares are in private investors hands, that is around %8.8.I know there is a real spread in numbers held. All very interesting.
