I should add that: The interesting part of this connection is that Gulf Gas and Energy have only recently (past 12 months) shown on their website that they have a business energy offering!

Purely a guess but I wonder if Jonathan Turner of Bayford group and Gulf Gas and energy could be taking advantage of the low SP to increase his holding (last reported was 5.2%)?

I hope so with £17m in the bank.......unless Bobby has been on a mad spending spree.
The BoD are probably relieved that they don't have to face shareholders face to face after the last couple of months.
Maybe by May we will be back over a quid, the long term holders deserve that at least.

Distressed seller was dumping shares which in turn dragged the SP down over the course of the last few weeks. Seller now appears to have cleared the decks and we are seeing a re-rate. Still a long way to go but today's movement shows how quickly the SP moves on reasonably small volume.

Feel free to read the previous RNS. The business is in great shape with cash in the bank to weather the storm . Not to mention that businesses have not just stopped operating, most still require energy supply (and most are paying a standard daily fee for their supply).

Its entirely possible we could be in for big re-rate. Looking back at the charts the last few big single day increases have seen gains of 30% plus. As I pointed out on here the other day, back in January most were talking about £3, £4, £5 target prices. including a number of holders with shares originally purchased as high as £8.

You better contact JP Morgan and warn them.
Joking aside they have made big strides in handling debt and will likely be in high demand once social distancing regs are reduced.
It's not going to multibag today like many on Twitter are suggesting but in the coming months should double from the current level comfortably.

A good indication that the seller has run out of stock and MM's need to lift the bid to attract new sellers. Although I cant imagine they will attract many sellers at this level.

In a normal market £1 is a bargain. Unfortunately we had a seller or two willing to offload at any price which with limited shares in the market made it easier to drop. Fortunately it works both ways and any sniff of buying volume will create a sharp upward move.
Gov update later today on social distancing rules may also do us a favour as we may get some information on when businesses will be back to normal trading.

No idea why anyone is selling at this level. It is essentially handing over shares at half price vs a month ago and very little has changed.
Gov announcement on Thursday regarding social distancing could result in a bounce as they may indicate the timescales in which businesses can go back to trading as normal (ish). A date within the next month would be great news for YU.

RTO could be on the cards but I am not entirely sure us lowly retail holders will see much out of the deal. Come on Motif, give us an RNS that doesn't torpedo the SP for a change.

Why did it take them so long to get an RNS out?
It was looking good last week given that no RNS was forthcoming. Slightly odd behaviour. Weirdly the drop seems to have stopped a little above .20

Can you imagine the SP movement if MTFB indicate that a nebulized iclaprim variant is being put through accelerated Covid19 trials. Sod 1p, the SP will 10 bag if not more pretty much instantly.
Perhaps that is what is driving the current rise. Certainly a long way to go to the glory days of 30p plus.

MM's are struggling to control the inflow of buyers. Constant NT to buy any volume (I do think they are also trying to hoover up as many cheap shares as possible from those who made good money last week).
