@Asheel thats not an offer price, it’s a valuation this could reach just by market movement. This was £3.50 in December and all I have heard in the new year is the number of new clients that WPP has onboarded. This will have a positive material impact on the bottom line. They have trimmed the dividend and that makes sense and are strengthening their position in the market. We could see an asset disposal for 700m easily and the SP would gap significantly higher.

Please can we keep this board about the company and not individuals - Maverick has a view and you may have yours. Perhaps just worry about posts on the EasyJet board @Gary

I’m looking at £3.50 with the idea to top slice, but with a heathy dividend this is an attractive buy

My friend actually works for UBS and he tipped these to me in December at £3. With funds they have an underlying motive for their calls, but most brokers will have a taker price around the £3.30 mark. Like many here its a case of averaging in when you buy because it does look really cheap and has done all week and the likelihood of a takeover will be be mounting - Bain Capital is my call, but Apollo, KKR and Havas have all been linked in an article published in the Times in recent weeks

$1b asset sale confirmation will no doubt see the SP back above £3.50. The real issue is whether there is a approach by private equity, which at current valuation is a steal for the whole business for a leader in the sector, as per the awards it won just this week. One name I would look at is Bain Capital as a potential suitor, who could make an approach

Buying at these levels represents big uspide - minimum 100% if not more, accumulation going on. Happy to just wait for the SP to re-rate. Similar to my experience at somewhere like WG in recent months
