I use Google and just look at trends. Before tlw fall from grace they were a good parallel of pmo. CNE is a better fit as both benefit from catcher and CNE also involved with enq. Google allow 3month and 1 year for comparisons but also spot checks on daily basis in the time slots.

Actually just did quick Google check, and in US the flu mortality rate is estimated at 0.13%. That's roughly the same I think. I think as time progresses the rate should reduce as it seemed to be 5% a few weeks ago. And based on today's figures from Chinese officials it's down to 2%. Would hate to think its 2% or any higher than flu TBH. But it's got an eerie feel to it all, but like watching a horror movie on TV

So mortality rate is 1 in 625, I think that's lower than the flu. Still terrible and wish them the best at getting over this pandemic

To be precise enq is down 20% from it's high a couple of weeks ago, and CNE is down about same as PMO. TLW has other issues for sure but CNE has and remains a decent comparison for trends.

Enq are not at 6 month high, they were 2 weeks ago. Tlw were 68 2 weeks ago. CNE were 212 a out 3 weeks ago. But I guess poo hasn't effected any of them. Last time oil was 58 what was PMO?. But I'm not gonna argue with you, I see your posting history and you obviously not happy about something.

Main issue with lower oil price is timing of placing and RI.

100mbo? The real question is what is a bbl of oil in the ground worth to someone in shallow water GoM, or what could it be worth to Pemex who would have a different tax arrangement with their own govt. That's if they are interested in discovered and appraised barrels of course.

I have no like/dislike for this news, we spoke about unitization delays maybe 6 months ago. Geo101 raised the prospect of complications. It's probably why pmo are raising 500 million with 300 million bridging. The zama transaction was never going to materialize to cash quickly.

Hoper, Zama at worst gets delayed. Maybe pemex are bidding for pmo share which would boost their overall zama entitlement to 55% based on independent estimate. Who knows? But this won't be the first sale of a part asset that has contingent sales payments attached to it. My thoughts all along have been that unitization is not complete so I believe part of pmo stake will go for cash and the balance at pre agreed $/bbl fee once unitization is completed. The way pemex are playing with delayed drills etc that could take time.
