Poem: The Re-Frack4 Sep 2018 23:07
A sorry sight, the leaving men, a sultry and despondant group. The oil was locked away it seemed, nothing more to do. "Don't forget, you've failed yourselves!" The captain was a horrid fool.
The final man to board the bus, he turned to take a pensive breath, a feeling passed across his mind, was it doubt, regret? "Nothing I can do" he shrugged, the door hissed closed and off they went.
Days became months as time didn't cease, this land was unwanted, but then was re-leased.
New faces came, fine men they were, ebullient and hearty blokes. Endeavouring to meet their goals, keen to make the most. Their leader was a good man, they saw him as one of their own.
"We're here to win, where others fail" said he to his fantastic team. "It worked before and we will get, what is underneath!" A cheer was heard from afar, for they had reason to believe!
