Oakey the smug Yorkshireman with a chip on his shoulder. What's the matter? Did your lass run off to London to live a cultured life? Did you visit once and see an art student and thought "nowt but pansies the lot of 'em!"
Wait a minute... isn't Morrissey from Yorkshire? And the weed in tweed... Jarvis Cocker? Hmm not exactly alpha males, Oakley.
Yorkshire folk have to perform mental gymnastics to justify the fact that they live in a place that's dreary and culturally banal. I've probably got more attractive women living on my street than you've got in the whole of your local town.
Some people with a lot of capital are going to swoop in on this at some point, build a massive holding and turn this trend completely around... as soon as it starts going up again the PIs are going to come running.
Base your decisions on facts. SLS is a growing industry. DS has oodles of industry experience. Initial setup is complete (virgin islands etc). Wait for the updates. Wait for the launch.
A lot of rainbow chasers are off elsewhere... Think they can get back in when the news drops... Good luck with that. It's going to gap up and getting hold of any meaningful amount is going to be hard with so many in sticky hands.
To be fair... it is totally possible to use your money elsewhere while we await the next RNS. I wouldn't risk it however. I don't want to be out when it starts hotting up again, and I want to be a part of that.
ALGW is brexit-resistant and potentially excellent in a bear-market. It's on the main market. It's got a unique position in the UK because it's publicly listed and has a US-UK footprint. It's ready to launch a new product... SOON. A JV with a reputable and experienced firm. Will be generating revenue from it's funds in the near future... awaiting an update about the hybrid fund? £3MM mcap? It's still tiny! So much room to grow and it's in a growing industry.
I'm so tired of junior oilers and miners... This is the kind of junior I like. It will deliver, only a matter of when and by how much! No more risky behaviour for me. I'm sitting tight and waiting.... £10MM mcap for a start.
Great to see some blue today. If it stays buoyant then it shows that there is rising support well above 2p. This could be the start of the next leg up. Despite the little dip last week, by my estimation sentiment is higher now than it was before completion of ALM.
From a technical perspective, the 200dayWMA is still rising on the hourly chart. If the SP continues, it will find a lot of support at 2.10p IMO and should have nice appealing oversold indicators that might well tempt investors and traders to get in for the rebound.
On having a plush city office as opposed to a brass-plate address... does anyone want higher cash-burn? It might not be necessary or a priority right now. No objections to leaving it for the time being.
Also, everyone dreads the P-word, but a placing isn't exactly the end of the world. Look back to last September... they raised at 2p and approx two weeks later the SP was rocketing at 3.38.
>"...market listing rules apply at algw there has to be a gap between issues 12 months after the last one"
Is it the case that a placing may not occur within 12 months of the previous one, or that a placing may only occur once within a 12-month period?
I'm looking at the LSE guide to listing and trying to find the answer to this. It's dense legalese and I'm still nonplussed, not sure if I am looking in the right place.
ALGW is into it's second 12-month period since it's IPO, and I believe this means they are able to raise again. Please correct me if I am mistaken. It would be great to be clear on this.
I appreciate the mendacity of DontFret, it's fair to have a two-sided discussion and not just a ramp-fest. Missing a PR company is not great. No proper investor's meeting? Early o'clock AGM? I understand the objections.
I'd rather listen to the concerns of DontFret than find any encouragement from the likes of "Blue Horsehoe Loves Chip Fat" on Twitter who appears to be an unfunny buffoon of the highest degree. What an idiot. Blocked of course.
I'm willing to sit tight and wait for continuation of newsflow.
