If the position is as bad you imply (and it may be) and Sea Lion has a nil value the best strategy for RKH would be distribute any money it obtains from the Italian Government and then wind itself up. Is that your view?
Fuddstone
So to summarise your strategy:
1 find a company that has bad prospects and is badly run
2. Invest in it
3. spend a large amount of your time complaining that is badly run
4. Don't sell until value goes to nil
5. Keep complaining.
Sounds great....
Still on the bright side, this board is a beacon of reason compared with the sado-erotic badinage going on over there.
How it is it that this company attracts so many crazy people. Must have something going for it as a self-selecting nutter group.
Fuddstone, What I find truly amazing is that you and others are prepared to invest so much of your time day in day out in something that you clearly dislike. If the Titanic is sinking you don't sit on deck for hours criticizing the way the the captain butters his toast: you get off.
LTT I think the trades tab on this site is highly unreliable. I have made 3 buys recently; one was recorded as a sell, one as a buy and the third missed out altogether.
ps my posts from yesterday seem to have disappeared. Gozzie have you stolen them?
There was a thread here a minute ago by LTT thinker about buys and sells, to which I responded that I bought this morning and my buy comes up as a sell. Obviously trade totally inaccurate. The thread appears to have disappeared!
Ralphy from the repetitive nature of your posting it certainly 'feels' like every day.
Given that you believe that you are posting 'advisory' 'deramping' posts for the benefit of readers here would it not strengthen your position if you were open and honest about your trading position?
Ralphy, when you say 'its not worth selling now' that implies you can afford to lose whatever value is left in your shareholding.
How many shares do you own? What proportion of your share portfolio is in RKH? If you are so little concerned over the value why do you keep posting the same old same old day in day out?
Prior to discovery in 2010 this share traded around 60p mark. With 195 million shares the market was giving a value of around £117 million. Oil price roughly same as now. Since then we have found and appraised sea lion, absorbed the acreage of Desire and Fogl, struck a deal with PMO to develop sea lion and hey presto we are now worth around £70 million.
hmmm
