Not been on here for quite some time but it appears to have calmed down a bit. Can't see AFC going into leasing themselves as it is so capital intensive; best to go with the firms that are experienced at doing it rather than commit resources (f all sorts) to that I'd have thought.
Behind a pay wall so no point posting a link but an interesting article in The Times today about the focus that will be on evtols at the Farmborough airshow next week and the importantce of emission free recharging facilities
Genuinely bizarre that this very odd character spends half the day insulting and bad-mouthing people but then thinks those people will appreciate him posting a funny little video. a psychological case study.
There may be a good reason why these options have been awarded at this particular point in time - but I'd like to know what it is if there is one. I would like to think that there is, but at the moment it smacks a little of opportunism with the share price very significantly down from relatively recent highs. One would hope that the remuneration committee's process is robust enough to put any such concerns firmly to bed but allocating them now and at a sort of exercise price barely above the 12 month high doesn't sit very well with me.
I have taken a pledge to avoid replying direct to the ramper in chief but - he's too obnoxious to engage with - but unless there is a very clear reason to allocate now, his points that all the remcom can do is look at the current price and apply multiples f it is a complete irrelevance; it's the timing that matters.
Not a name that meant anything to me - a very different sector to the one I work in! Fair to say though that it is a very large operator. Some clips from its website:
DRAGADOS is one of the main construction companies of the ACS Group. The ACS Group is the most internationalized construction and engineering group in the world,
DRAGADOS has unparalleled international experience in infrastructure projects, bridges, highways, tunnels, dams and maritime works, and is a leader in the execution of concession projects
DRAGADOS is the largest public, private partnership (PPP) concession contractor in the world
That's quite exciting.
