You are right, I missed that Kier is similar graph wise during covid.

GFRD had a rights issue in 2018.
Kier had a rights issue in 2018.
BBY had a rights issue in 2019. (acquisition purposes)
Costain rights issue in 2020.
MGNS has no rights issue. (from my research)

Costain looks undervalued to me, just surprised the trajectory of competitors were better. Perhaps it's just due to bad management. I didn't realise bad management could be this impactful, perhaps it's also just bad luck!

I've been comparing it to KIE, MGNS, GFRD and BBY.

Why did Covid impact them so much unlike the others? Historically it's had other problems but from the charts there is a noticeable dip due to Covid and this has just continued.

Nah, Ade1234 is right. This requires some big things to happen for a good SP movement.

We pretty much had a production update recently and not much happened. We've also had plenty of peace talks at the table. Not much happened then. It did move but nothing too significant.

When the war over is this will fly, until then it'll likely float around this level.

Surely this doesn't look right in the way it's rising? Huge jumps and the spread is quite large.

I can imagine this taking time. Even to hire a single employee it takes at least a few weeks. Here we are talking about a whole firm. In addition, the last time they hired Deloitte they had to go through a tendering process. It'll at least be a few weeks.

I'm hoping they knew Deloitte was going to throw in the towel last month though.
