I’m basing that on the fact that Trumpkin will not end the war in a day. his own special envoy is talking “hopefully six months but it’s complicated”. Short mining season lack of interest over 5 years, geo political issues, sanctions which UK and EU have said will remain in place until Russia funds Ukrainian rebuild, we run out of funding November leaving us open to a fire sale offer. What it may or may not be worth in a perfect world has no relevance. We are not operating in a perfect world. Come November it will be whatever we can get for it before the lights are switched off permanently, and the starting point for any negotiations will be the current SP.

Yes gold is much higher. About a year ago I recommended Pan African Resources, a South African based gold miner. SP is up 123% since then. Something pre war has put buyers off, the war has put buyers off all the talk on here about a Brics buyer has come to nothing. I still think eventually it will go for between 5p and 10p but nearer to 5p

Well Kellog, Trumpkins own envoy to Russia and Ukraine said yesterday that it would take 6 months to end the war. Somewhat different to Trumpkin and his claim to end it in a day. That’s puts us very close to running out of money again.

Actually @Nelson no one posted because there is feck all happening, no news, no progress, just time running down as the Wonga loan is being used to keep the lights on. Trump rowing back on his promise to end the war, “end it in a day” not going to happen.

Is anyone surprised that he is already rowing back on his election pledges/promises, after all with a failure rate of 57% of his election pledges last time round (an all time high) he is hardly believable.
