Dickyboy1, you're clearly new to the stockmarket. Nobody invests in a company expecting the share prices to go down, that's shorting. As stated earlier the stockmarket is for the more wealth gambler, always has been and will be.

Surprisingly it would seem there are a new bunch here that don't see that the whole stockmarket is " a punt ". That's why it has always been known as rich mans gambling .
