TARBA ENERGIA is a Spanish company, created in 2008 to explore and develop the Tesorillo Project, following the granting by the Ministry of Industry in 2010 of hydrocarbon research permits called "Tesorillo" and "Ruedalabola", located under the terms of Tarifa and Barbate, in Cádiz (Spain). Their work is supported by an international technical team with extensive European experience and the conviction that part of its success lies in the strength of relations with neighbors and local communities.

TARBA ENERGÍA concentrates in its human teams a long experience in the exploration and exploitation of natural gas deposits, result of the extensive activity that the companies that form it (Petrel and Prospex) have been developing for decades in the most different countries of the world, like Australia, Uruguay, Romania or Italy. This professional team is formed by a large and expert group of scientists, who are joined by other specialists in environment, conservation or mining law.
The hydrocarbon research permits called "Tesorillo" and "Ruedalabola" were granted to TARBA ENERGÍA by the government of Spain through Royal Decree 1771/2010, of December 23, and grouped for the purposes of investment work through a resolution of the General Directorate of Energy Policy and Mines of January 11, 2013.

We work in the conventional exploration of gas in sandstones, guided by a serious environmental and social corporate commitment towards the local community, and we promote the sustainable development of the energy resources of Andalusia and Spain.
The first phase of our work focuses on the identification and research of energy projects, for which we carry out the corresponding geological, geophysical (audio, earthquake, seismic, gravimetric, etc.) works in addition to the environmental impact studies that help to determine the potential of the accumulated resources and the viability of their future exploitation.
When the result of the exploration is positive, we carry out the necessary additional surveys and build the infrastructures destined to the exploitation of said resources, as well as the processing plants. We carry out all operations under strict sustainability, security and transparency policies.
The Production phase is intended for the extraction of reservoirs from the deposit for commercialization, at the same time that we continue with the maintenance, control and transport tasks, since the operation and maintenance services are necessary during all phases of the process.
