Think the loans (except for those made by continuing other participants in HHDL, now reduced to Alba and Doriemus) just cancel out on consolidation:
UKOG acquired the loans owed by HHDL, UKOG owns 77.9% of HHDL.

On Trump:
he's attempting to use the trade (and, perhaps, now currency?) war with China to exert pressure on the Fed to reduce interest rates.
But he can't be the "saviour" without China's agreement and, to obtain that agreement, he's going to have to make some concessions.
Otherwise, China will just wait and see if he's re-elected or not.

UKOG has increased its stake in HHDL, HHDL no longer owes these loans to the relevant participants.

ERBIL — A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is set to visit Baghdad for concrete talks with the federal government of Iraq, said KRG representative in Baghdad.
Faris Isa told BasNews on Sunday that the delegation is expected to arrive in Baghdad “in the next two days”.
He explained that the delegation consists of technical committees who are responsible to discuss the solutions to address the Erbil-Baghdad disputes pertaining to the contested territories, as well as gas and oil issues.
Isa noted that the new cabinet of the KRG under the leadership of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is keen to explore the possibilities with Baghdad to find solutions to the prolonged disputes between the regional and the federal governments.
“Delaying a solution to the disputes serves no interests of Erbil and Baghdad. The situation has changed now,” the KRG envoy added.

Suggestion (maybe on Bloomberg, I forget) that Trump's move against China had as much to do with his conflict with the Fed as with China:
disappointed by Powell's statement re the Fed's interest rate outlook, the move against China is designed to put more pressure on the Fed to reduce rates.
