Put it on 20x cash flow, because its an early stage oil explorer with a lot of other assets to exploit, and you get 12p. Reduce the 10bn shares and you get a higher figure per share.

For myself, it's not just about what UKOG manages to achieve by 31/10, but the market's perception of its future potential at 31/10.

In theory, the market is there to anticipate future developments: I am hoping for a successful start to the new operations at HH (and confirmation of UKOG's purchase of Tellurian's 35% stake in HH very soon).

PS: in the optimistic scenario, Year 3 net cashflow is estimated at £6.2m, the same as the company's market cap today.

GL's estimate of 4p per share for Saltfleetby was based on a very broad-brush approach and took no account of the time-value of money.

It appears to have been based more closely on the conservative scenario outlined in the RNS of 19/06, of £17.6m for ANGS's 51%-share net of costs over 10 years, than on the optimistic scenario.

The optimistic scenario was for £36.5m over 12 years, more than the double of the conservative scenario.

In both scenarios, Year 1 net cashflow is estimated at £1.8m.

It is precisely that kind of subject-title which makes ANGS a bombed-out share price with significant recovery potential.

Raised £3m+ on 30/04, received £2.5m on 16/07 as part of the Saltfleetby deal.

Current market cap: £6.2m.

"Likely to be game over if they can't pull a rabbit out of the hat shortly" is, in my eyes, overdoing the doom and gloom story.
