Agree that the spread is often wide.
Today, it was both wide and "skewed", to give a mid-point considerably higher than the price at which trades were being done, (hence all the trades classified as "sells").
Re your last point, am not as pessimistic as yourself: the stock has come down a very long way and is overdue a bounce, let's see what happens when the Balcombe application is made and hear what they have to say during the update on 30/09.
