Have been selecting "buy" as my opinion on ANGS since last Friday's update RNS on Balcombe (when I remember to do so, that is).

You've lost me, wealdpwr.

In the article you cited dated 15/03/19, JT-P spoke as the non-board director of operations. You did not appear to be aware of his position at the time, citing him and stating: "IMO, not the words of a shareholder...".

Will judge management on their 2 principal projects at the present time, Balcombe and Saltfleetby (and any additional projects, of course).

Wealdpwr didn't appear to realise that JT-P was ANGS's non-board director of operations at the time of the article he cited, hence my post.

What I am saying, wealdpwr, is that, at the time of the article, 15/03/19, JT-P was the non-board director of operations.

Of course, the words cited by yourself were not those of a shareholder, they were the words of the company's non-board director of operations.

You can sack management, but you can't can't sack a shareholder.

I confess you've lost me a bit, wealdpwr: JT-P is the founder of, and a significant and influential shareholder in, ANGS, I don't think I'm saying anything very controversial in saying that.

wealdpwr, they conflict in that you said, in your post of 19:23, "Same team, still controlled by JTP".

Whereas YL, in his post of 19:45, wrote:

No... GL's just a stooge for Tidswell... whereas (despite his faults) Vonk was - at least - his own man!

PS: it would have been much more difficult for PV to take the same decision as GL about Brockham.

Is it possible JT-P was unhappy about the way things were going at Brockham and wanted another, neutral pair of eyes to assess the prospects of the field?

And the changed factors are the CEO and the board.
