We have 2 diametrically opposed camps, no meeting of the minds is possible.

It is, therefore, the future trajectory of the share price which will be the judge.

I expect it's because that "truth" relates to the past and investors are looking to the future.

At 31/03/20, Angus's book net assets were £11.116m or 1.84p* per share.

At 30/09/19, it also had tax loss carry forwards in AEWB No.3 Limited worth £6.256m (or 1.04p* per share) which are not included in book net assets but are included in the Saltfleetby CPR forecasts.

* calculated on the basis of the exact number of shares in issue (604+m). Previously, I was extrapolating from advfn's market cap figure, which seems to be understated

In fairness to the action group, it only seems to be a small minority who are actively participating in plan B.

Most seem to have accepted the demise of plan A.

Who knows? Perhaps some are considering buying back in again to reduce or recover their original investment losses.

That is always the case, given that a "buy" or a "sell" is determined by its position vis-a-vis the mid-point of the spread.

Yesterday's RNS was released at 14:45, so the RNSs we await aren't necessarily going to be 7am publications.

The more recent presentation is dated December 2019 (What we do, Saltfleetby gas field), although I think the time-lines remain the same as in the June 2019 presentation:

That sounds more like a doctoral thesis than an RNS!

Angus Energy Weald Basin No.3 Ltd, the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, has entered into a Gas Construction Agreement with National Grid regarding the works to be carried out on their property. Under this agreement, the National Grid has agreed to carry out the works required for the design and construction of National Grid Facilities at Theddlethorpe. Long lead items have been ordered and construction remains in line with our project schedule.

Should be the first of a number of announcements in the near future.

Certainly doesn't do any harm to the credibility of the project!

Operations Update

Angus Energy (AIM: ANGS) is updating the market on progress made on the Company's interests at Saltfleetby.

Makes it sound as if shareholders are buildings - unusual image conjured up.

It rose to exactly 11p ... and stayed there for less than a minute, if my memory serves me right.

Remember it well, price multiplied by 13.75 times from the bottom.
