Imho, on a board devoted to a share quoted on the market, negative comments need to be related to the share price.

In UKOG's case, the share price is already discounting an enormous amount of negativity.

Agree with Mirasol that UKOG is suffering from overpromising and underdelivering in the past.

Think the pendulum has now swung much too far in the opposite direction and that UKOG's share price is underestimating the possibility of future success across the range of its projects.

But that is, of course, a matter of personal opinion.

For myself, as I've indicated, the question is now: what to do? Buy, sell or hold?

For myself, it's the past.

Now, with the price at 0.1302p, it's a question of do I buy, sell or hold?

Given the price, I don't sell, so the choice is reduced to buying or holding.

Can sympathise at a personal level, Ninetails, but the stock market doesn't do sympathy and isn't overly interested in the past either.

It's almost all about the present (0.1302p per share) and the future, whether it be in the short, medium or long term.

A good number of us consider ANGS to be pretty grossly undervalued, including G.P. Jersey who have recently built up a 10% stake:

Also bear in mind this extract from an answer to an Investor Question asked on 27/01/21:

The valuation of the field is highly sensitive to headline gas prices. In our Reserves Report the exchange’s forward curve prices were used resulting in an average gross price of 38 pence per therm. At target peak production rate of 10 million standard cubic feet a day an extra 1 pence/therm is equal to about £350,000 per annum of additional revenue from the gas field, of which 51% goes to Angus. Given Angus’ tax shield there is very little incremental cost associated with this improved revenue – essentially frictional supply discount, shipping and grid entry charges etc.

It's been less talked about today than other aspects of the RNS, but the work they are undertaking re the Dolgellau Gold Field could produce some key insights ahead of the next stages of its exploration:

Alba's technical team have been progressing a detailed analysis of the available regional exploration data across the DGF, now that the Gwynfynydd licence area has been added to our exploration ground (see Alba's announcement of 20 November 2020). These invaluable datasets include:

(a) the airborne geophysical survey which was flown in 1972-3 on behalf of the British Geological Survey (BGS); and

(b) the BGS stream sediment sampling programmes carried out in the 1980s and 1990s and in which certain pathfinder elements have been identified to aid in targeting gold mineralisation...

Alba is currently also undertaking a detailed drainage basin analysis to assist in the planning of focussed stream sediment sampling programmes...
