We are waiting on input from partners on our interpretation and will update on that and discussions with neighbouring licence holders as soon as it is received.

Just an observation: a financially solid bidder for Saltfleetby will, presumably, be comfortable with a lower discount rate in evaluating the field's net present value.

Healthy debate is genuinely a positive for a company, but there have been a group of concerted individuals, using differing aliases, who have spent three years trashing the company’s previous management, the company and now its new management.

Looking back at their posts: our Saltfleetby Gas Field was first a sham or a fraud “Poundland” asset and not woth anything. Then it was worth something, obviously, but not much and in any case would never be financed. Then it was financed, but would never be built. Then it was revalued at £25m P90 NPV (or expressed as 2P net cash flow to Angus, £55 million) fully financed and being built, but it would never be permitted by EA etc. It goes on.

We are not a company which seeks to Cancel debate; all we can do is steadily progress this project, restore to some value the legacy oil fields which were left to present management, and build out other, alternative energy, demonstratively scalable and commercially valuable projects for our shareholders.

The problem is, also, that AIM oilers are PI stocks par excellence and that there is no shortage of posters/commentators/market players/trolls who like to prey on PIs and their potential anxieties.

So the negative comments have to be taken with a gigantic pinch of salt.

Lots of speculation on this board about the implications of the GM resolutions, but isn't the key point that shareholders backed the board and backed the board to act in the best interests of ... shareholders?

The original deramp re "Poundland" was that the OGA would not approve the assignment of 51% to Angus or accept its operatorship of the field (proven wrong by the RNS of 02/12/19).

It is inevitable that after so many further deramps have proven to be wrong, one tends to be somewhat dismissive of further negative comments, especially when they are expressed by those who are invariably negative about Angus.

Saltfleetby will either achieve first gas under Angus or be sold to a bidder (for an attractive price, I hope).

The derampers will then be obliged to go hunting for more stories with which to bash Angus: I doubt even they know what they will come up with at the present time.

Not there yet, but time is marching on.
