Imho, the RNS of this morning is so momentous it more or less constitutes a re-launch of Angus.

At a guess, Angus is on the way to becoming a mid-cap.

Family offices were mentioned amongst the new investors subscribing £6m. It seems to be that is entirely appropriate: Angus is, imho, a long-term growth story which can be safely locked away in a portfolio for the next several years.

If they exceed 30%, they are obliged to make a bid.

But the warrants have to be exercised to become shares and Forum is free to decide when it exercises them.

Not mentioned on the board so far this morning but Angus have announced they are buying up the 49% of Saltfleetby they do not already own, suggesting considerable confidence in the future of Saltfleetby.

SS has described Loxley as the country's 2nd largest onshore gas field after Saltfleetby.

Can the company reiterate what confidence it has in the success of the sidetrack.

Updates on other Clogau Work Streams

As stated in the RNS dated 21 March 2022, the Company submitted additional data and analysis to the competent regulator, Natural Resources Wales ("NRW"), in respect of its proposal to dewater the Llechfraith Shaft at Clogau, which dewatering requires certain permits to be obtained in respect of the discharge of mine water, post-treatment, to the River Cwm-Llechen. The Company has now received feedback from NRW in respect of those revised submissions. This feedback is being considered currently and may require further data generation by the Company. The Company and its technical advisers remain confident that the Company will be successful in its bid to dewater the shaft. Further details will be advised once the Company has a better idea of the likely timeline to a formal determination.

Further to our RNS dated 11 October 2021, our aeromagnetic UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) survey contractors, UAVE Limited, have been engaged in the process for obtaining permission to fly and have been liaising in that regard with the UK Civil Aviation Authority to establish schedules and stake holders. The process is anticipated to take 18 weeks in total, and the Company will provide a further update in due course.

In RNSs on 2 successive days, Angus's share capital structure has been totally transformed. This is how it looks this morning, following yesterday's exit of the biggest shareholder until then, GP (Jersey) Limited:

1/ It looks as if Forum has accepted the discount on the sale of its 49% in exchange for obtaining shares in a quoted company, Angus.

2/ To support the Acquisition, AND THE COMPANY's GROWTH AMBITIONS (my capitals), and to manage general working capital and Saltfleetby project capital expenditure in particular, Angus is pleased to announce that it has secured a group of strategic investors with whom the Company has completed, by way of a direct subscription, a conditional issue of 546,000,000 new Ordinary Shares (the "Subscription Shares") at 1.09896011 pence per share to raise GBP6,000,000 with a group of family offices and private investors led by Aleph (the "Direct Subscription").

£6m is the largest injection of cash into Angus I have seen.

Perhaps Loxley will get us to the Isle of Man :-)

It's the 2nd sentence which interests me as much as the first.
It sounds as if they have other projects in mind and that Angus may become much more active on the acquisition front.

Think it's clear that management has considerable ambitions for Angus.
Also think it's profile may begin to interest institutional small cap funds.

Big transaction, Angus has just become a much bigger company.

The RNS of 10/10/18 ends thus:
