Last Friday, at 8:40 am, they released the RNS speaking of having "encountered oil shows in drill cuttings from 358 to 400 metres drilled depth" and of having "decided to conduct open hole swabbed flow testing over the zone between 293 and 400 metres drilled depth".

Today, Tuesday, at 12:13, they provided the market with the inconclusive conclusions of the work undertaken since Friday.

Far too early to draw any definitive conclusions.

But the inconclusive results of swabbing the secondary target have amplified the downward movement of this morning.

Indeed, IG are simply covering their exposure to UKOG via trades done for their clients, so it is their clients who took advantage of the rise in the share price last Friday to reduce their exposure.

So they took advantage of the rise in the share price on that day, last Friday, fail to see why any poster should point the finger at them.

That is what we are witnessing in the market this morning.

AME's Cem Sayer wrote of Pinarova - 1 in their recently published 2022 annual report as a "... potentially game changing exploration play which will be executed in 2023".

UKOG's share price has come down a very long way over a period of time itself long.

Imho, it's difficult to accuse anyone of baseless ramping when a share price has declined to this extent.

Personally, would prefer they take the time they consider necessary and not pamper to the market by rushing out an RNS.
