I read about the restructuring and the consolidation at the time, but it's never been a stock I follow at all closely.

Most of the debt was eliminated in that restructuring, it was converted into equity.

The share consolidation was on the basis of 100:1.

GKP closed today at 253.50p.

Divide by 100 to convert into old money, ie. 2.535p.

Take a look at their half-year figures RNS of yesterday.

$100m of debt, that's it.

and Genel's net debt stood at $63.8m at 30/06/18.

Debt is $300m.

Cash and near-cash should have built up to that amount by the end of this year so that net debt will then be zero.

Since yesterday's RNS, that money has been making a fast exit.
