Here's hoping this week's performance marks the beginning of a return to the re-rating which has been so rudely interrupted for the last 6 months.

Imho, the share remains very significantly undervalued.

I would like to thank the oil price for its sturdy support this week and, in turn, the Saudis for cutting back production so promptly.

Should the price recover to, say, $65, then it looks as if that might correspond to about 250p for Genel.

Let's see what the company itself has to say on Tuesday, 15th, in its trading and operations update.
