To be clear I'm talking 50ktpa Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate (LiOH.H20) = 44ktpa LCE, which is the optimised, and efficiency savings I anticipate on the original 35ktpa LCE mining plan and plant designs, similar to what Ganfeng were able to achieve for Thacker Pass.
@tomcat. I personally believe two 50ktpa operations in Sonora is quite likely, one in the North of the pit, mostly on the LV area, and one in the South of the pit, 100% on our JV area, the two meeting in the middle. The only real question I have at this stage is will we accept an offer before or after Ganfeng announce these plans in their updated DFS? I suspect they'll want us accepting an offer before then, but we may decline if not sufficiently attractive, happily waiting until the after the updated DFS is made public.
Pretty certain deals are in the air - IMHO it's only a matter of time before the market gets wind of them, through official channels or otherwise... ;-)
Fair points @Dallas. And I suppose the next RNS related to Sonora might be so close to being the big one, there is little point in issuing comparatively small fry ones. Whatever that big one might be! ;-)
@Dallas. Pretty sure if we have official confirmation that our JV licences are valid, we are well within our rights, and in fact some would argue are obliged to RNS this...
Indeed @jimb. Market will wake up sooner or later to what we have. An RNS summarising the current Sonora situation wouldn't go amiss @Kiran ;-)
How many years in the making? 9? 10? Time to knock Sonora out of the park @Kiran.

Simply fantastic news for the end of the week @jimb! Thanks for sharing. :-)))
Just wondering what the takeover SP would be if an offer came in at 80% of NPV as did recently for another Lithium project.
I make it:
80% * US$1.938B * 49% * 0.82 (USD:GBP) / 186,042,485 = £3.35

I make the TL;DR on upcoming news as:
Amapa Iron Ore: First right of refusal to increase ownership stake from 27% towards 49% of a project that had discounted cash flow valuations of $1.2B Anglo & $1.66B Cliffs and an initial valuation when purchased by Anglo of $3.2B in 2008.
Anticipated order of events: MRE, PFS, 22%, IPO/DFS.
Shipment of stockpiles recommencing when conditions are favourable.
Sonora Lithium: In conversation with Ganfeng regarding KDNC's 30% JV's. Details on Ganfeng's optimisation and expansion ambitions and potential impact on KDNC of massively increased stage 1 plans to 50ktpa of Lithium hydroxide and beyond forthcoming, including strategic OEM investments, and consequences of recent nationalisation votes.
Anticipated order of events: Confirmation Lithium tenements are valid, publication of expanded DFS, new off take/investors.
Recent events highlight Ganfeng have the funds and are keen to do deals.
Evergreen Lithium: Initial public offering.
Yangibana Rare Earths: Finalisation of agreement to take A$9m in HAS shares in exchange for our joint venture areas.
EMH Lithium: DFS/partner/offtake/funding announcements for phase 1 of the project.
My Latest valuation estimates and Due Diligence by u/EV-BULL suggest the market is currently discounting Amapa and Sonora to near zero contribution to the NAV.

Money, firmly where mouth is! :-)
Indeed @EV. Snowball incoming! lol. Seriously, the potential here is mindboggling. Anyone new here, take a look at my recent asset valuation and comments:

Bet the BoD are comfortable with their 29p options, the current share price being a bit of a gift really. One I've fully taken advantage of :-)))
Ob.
Absolutely @Bannor. Though we do have first right of refusal if particularly bad. I know you know this, but for the benefit of those who don't, search for "drag" here.

This thread is the news of the day, and if true, and if those looking in for the first time, or perhaps with funds to top up, believe it to be true and understand the consequences if so, our share price could move up significantly depending on how deep their pockets and conviction is. Sometimes you just get lucky when browsing the boards, and perhaps today is the day for you, dear new investor. lol. OK, that's a ramp, but a pretty true one ;-) Been in the situation myself, sometimes you read something that catches your eye, you do the research, and you buy, buy, buy, whilst everyone posts: "has there been a leak" and other nonsense. No, someone with deep pockets has just read the research you guys have been posting and understood what it might mean. :-)
Wonder how many will look back on this day if an offer is forthcoming with regret? I'm not saying you will @Bannor, as like me you appear to be fully loaded at this share price. But there will be some who have read this and don't grasp what it means, and I'm not just talking cash in the bank, what it means for the Cadence of the company, for our future prosperity. $$$ :-)))
Everything I know is linked from here, and in the comments, apart from today's news :-)

Exactly @EV. A little momentum, and some quick catching up of what has been posted over the past few weeks (we all do it right!) and we could fly. It does matter what has been posted on boards to some people, because I know from first hand experience it matters to me. I'm some people, therefor end of. lol.
LoL @Bannor, does that mean you finally accept that a potential investor reading my upcoming news posts, following the links, doing further research and buying in at the 1-3% may actually move the share price upwards? Surely not? Surely you can't be accepting that what is posted on here may actually influence the share price? Inconceivable. lol.
Anyone found the source of this yet? And I don't mean the Bnamericas article. This is massive news if true. @Kiran?
@Bannor. I know you don't get it, but trust me, just a single investor we manage to Reach wanting in at that 1%, 2%, 3% level would propel us upwards on current volumes. A single investor... ;-)
LoL @Bannor. Pretty sure the wider market hasn't a clue, otherwise we'd be flying on this rumour. Happy to wait...
Exactly @Dallas. Very few will Understand this.
Wonder where that updated WHI report has gotten to? That might help with the Reach and Understanding.
