£12m cash and equivalent as of sept. Will that be less or similar now given the oil sales from ewt? 2 wells at £3m each to drill soon. £3m of this to be funded by ukog. Sounds ok to me. Still would not discount a raise as a contingency. GL.
Infinite number of variables influencing the sp including but definitely not restricted to SS. If he drops an rns tomorrow taking up all his options , or he drops one with a raise at 1p, the share will react accordingly. News fest should start soon.
Penguins ive tried to find the post that I was referring to but I can't. Either it's been deleted or I misread something. The later is very possible. I don't understand that you say you have 2m shares in ukog when you post negatives about it 99.99% of the time. If you average say 1p then you've put 20 grand in. This shows confidence in ukog? Maybe you've no shares? Maybe you've traded a small investment up to 2m? Your constant negativity Vs your supposed 2m shares do not add up to me.
HH1 Portlanf testing to continue until after HH2 is drilled. There will also be a short test of the Kim. From Pboo's OGA find and current unofficial tanker count, I reckon we have 20 tankers to come out between now and HH2 finish/HH1z start. There may be pressure build periods in there but I sense that the rig is close. GL.
Seems that way when SS believes that he can drain KL4 through 60m of fractured (presumably oil filled) shales down to a horizontal placed in KL3. I'm hoping to see an increase in the % recoverable due to this.
Echo those thoughts. Another oiler having issues in Eastern Europe with a suspension of operations order from nowhere. No guarantees with ukog but a hell of a lot more visibility and non corrupt government. GL.
Very emotive subject is the old Brexit. The leave camp did a Trump and hammered home a few key points time and again. We are where we are, and hopefully the transition isn't catastrophic for medium to small businesses. Lots of these businesses can't absorb a few months of pain let alone a year or more. Trade deals with other countries don't materialise overnight. I'm from NI that returned a strong remain vote, yet the DUP are on a leave ticket. Personally I voted remain but the majority counts so on we go. But Jesus let's not go out hard. Take time and get a sensible deal. Head should rule the heart. GL.
Qwerty you've conveniently focused on the low period. Average price across the July to Jan period was: 74, ,73,79,82,65,67,59. You can get this on the EIA website . Let's throw in 60 for Feb and say 63 for march and the average is $68 per barrel.
The naesayers have it at the minute. Historical events can be wheeled out to suit their purpose. BB didn't flow. SS hasn't bought any shares, over 2billion extra shares. We can't argue with any of this and the sp reflects it. Roll on a plethora of good news this year and next. There are still risks here but once it is significantly derisked SS will buy shares, the dilution will allow growth for years to come and the hard lessons from BB will be foremost in SS's mind on each and every new drill. GL.
SS is on record saying that traditional borrowing against proven reserves is an option. Huge revenues also to be had from ewt of 2 horizontals. But it would be naive to believe that a further raise is definitely off the table imo.
Kenni, I hold both and you are correct to an extent. Tankers out the gate is one aspect, Angs have none yet. Management is another, new Angs bod have a lot to prove. Still a placing to work thru . The production licence that you mention expires at the end of this year and the OGA have capped the amount of oil that can be produced. That said applications can be made to extend both. The dilution that you mention gives ukog real space to grow. The deposit on this was dilution. Those buying in now get the benefit of that. Those that held like me feel the pain. Looking ahead, Angs has potential to rerate, will it hold after, not sure. I can see money moving between both depending on timing of news. Ukog are expecting a lot of game changing news this year, need some luck to keep things ticking along, maybe one more raise. Good luck with your choices.
Ahh Rich, you know the craic. You know that the Portland is a simple animal compared to the Kim. Kim was thought to be distinct layers, now it's proven to be connected through the shales. I wonder how much of that oil can be recovered from in between 3 & 4? Complicated calculations need to be integrated and differentiated. Portland cpr, straight after planning meeting I reckon. Kim later in the year as they only stopped pumping oil out of the Kim a couple of weeks ago.
Lol Wizard, their hissing falls on deaf ears now. I have invested in what I believe to be a company with great potential and a solid business plan. What we need is some luck so that any operational issues during drilling and testing are small.
