JB is only a year late on deliveries from Kilifi & Kinusi & it looks as if he has missed the delivery date for Traxys. If he waits another month, he will have to post 2 years accounts (23/24 & 24/25) in order for Maru to be relisted. JB and the BOD should hang their head in shame.

If you check RNS 0435P - 1st Jul 2025 (Delay to the publication of audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024) it states that the delay will only be a temporary suspension. It merely highlights just how incompetent JB is; 10 months later he implies that it was partially due to not paying monies due to Aquis, something all companies would deem as routine & certainly not something that they would admit to overlooking.

Unfortunately, the longer the Co is suspended & JB continues to make no headway to rectify the problem, the stronger the likelihood is that the Co will be "struck off". The fact that JB seems incapable of actually delivering production in any of the proposed projects, only makes a bad situation worse.

JB has obviously failed to deliver the promised 5000t of Manganese by the end of Apr. Perhaps I was expecting too much, JB is only 1 year behind schedule. Does anyone seriously believe that he will meet the deadline for the copper delivery by the end of May? Again, that is only 1 year behind schedule. JB has the unique distinction of being CEO of various companies that are suspended more days that they actually trade & it is always someone else's fault. In another couple of months, Marula will be suspended for 1 year. How can any shareholder have any faith in what he says; he is an habitual liar, he has never met 1 deadline that he himself has set & it is always someone else's fault. Marula was suspended for 10 months & JB claims that they were unaware that money was due to the Exchange that they are trading in during that period. When the new board took over at Neo, they ousted JB & his cohorts, they obviously wanted rid of any "dead wood". The SH over in Neo were delighted when he left & the share price got a substantial lift. Perhaps that is what Marula needs, I don't see how anyone could run a Co as inefficiently as JB.

In early Feb, JB did a Stock box interview (see below) in which he states around the 12th minute (12:15) that Marula would have the three mines , Kilifi, Kinusi & Tonto all producing, with cash generation & confirmed sales over the course of Feb & into Mar. Obviously that hasn't happened. Knowing JB's history, I have serious reservations when it will eventually happen. I like all current shareholders hope that the delay is only a short one, but I have been disappointed so often in the past that I am certainly not optimistic of a early turnaround.

I, along with the majority of Marula shareholders would like clarification on the outstanding issues raised by the CEO of Marula, not a "smoke & mirrors" definition by a CEO of a Co that may or may not be involved with a RTO with Marula.

You can play with semantics all you like. If what you say is true, then Campion is as deliberately misleading as JB.

The document clearly states that several of Marula's mines are already in production. Campion released it as a production update & not an appraisal on Marula's assets.

Campion released RNS 4026G on 6th Nov & at the bottom which is highlighted as (Significant Cashflow Potential) he makes the following statement:

Several of Marula Africa's assets are already in production and have commenced exporting ore, including initial sales from the Blesberg Lithium and Tantalum Mine in South Africa and the Kinusi Copper Mine in Tanzania, and with exports from the Kilifi Manganese Processing Plant are scheduled to commence this quarter. These operations are expected to deliver near-term cashflows, supported by secured and proposed and existing long-term offtake agreements with regional and international commodity traders and major industry end users.

According to Campion, Kilifi should also be in production now. The above statement is also ignoring the Stock-box interview which JB stated that he hoped to have the Tonto Tshipi Manganese Mine in production in Dec. Campion is using the above statement to encourage his shareholders to vote for the RTO. JB as CEO of Marula, should either confirm/deny the above statement by Campion. He is forced to stay silent on this alleged progress because if he contradicts Campion, then it may effect how their shareholders vote on the upcoming RTO.

I find it strange that Myles Campion (Executive Chairman & acting CEO of Europa mining) can issue an RNS referring to Marula & relating to the upcoming RTO & the alleged progress they have made, yet our own CEO goes into hiding & is unwilling/unable to keep his own shareholders up to date. As previously mentioned, issues such as the AGM, funding & production on some of the sites that were scheduled to be in production last year; shareholders would like to be kept up to date what progress, if any, has been made?

Unfortunately I believe you are right. JB has gone into hiding & there has been no correspondence or updates from Marula recently. The following RNS ( 4026G ) was released by Myles Campion (acting CEO of Europa & a previous colleague of JB) on 6th Nov.

Now; either Campion has identical traits as JB & deliberately misleads/lies to shareholders in making the above claims, or Marula shareholders are being totally ignored & not kept up to date with how the company is progressing? I would be very interested to hear some sort of response from Marula to the above.

 

Because JB always fails to meet deadlines that he himself has set, does not make it any more acceptable.

I don't believe JB has ever met any deadline that he released in an RNS. As we all know Kilifi was scheduled for production in Apr/May '24 & he made numerous references to potentially having four mines in production by'24.

JB released an RNS on 24 th Nov, ref Tonto Tshipi Manganese Mine; where it states that open-pit mining will commence mid Dec & they intend to produce 1000t of manganese ore by 20th Dec '25. We have yet to receive an update on that & I like many other shareholders are still waiting patiently for confirmation about production at Kilifi.  Shareholders would like to see JB stop releasing RNSs which are  deliberately  misleading & actually start producing.

In a recent StockBox interview, JB stated that even though the Co is suspended, normal business is continuing as usual.  That being the case, why is Kilifi/Kinusi not already in production?????

I sincerely hope that Marula is successful. However, like a lot of shareholders I am bitterly disappointed in the misleading information that we are given and the repeated ongoing excuses constantly made for why Marula is not producing.
