Hello, never posted on here before but wondered what is the consensus on the future of the share price? I'm a postie, dont regard myself as being particularly militant though, I understand that Royal Mail is between a rock and a hard place in many ways. I understand that if i was to look for another job it would be highly unlikely that there would be a pension on offer even as good as one that's being proposed let alone the one we have. We also have good sick benefits annual leave etc and the pay isn't bad for putting stuff through letter boxes either! There is a lot of moaning but not a lot of looking for other jobs put it that way. But it is very phsically demanding and i'm not looking forward to doing it in my 50's, the rounds are getting bigger and they keep messing with our hours. But, our competitors are able to cherry pick the most profitable areas, employ people on a self employed basis thus not having to pay sick, annual leave etc, their cost base must be way lower so i come back to my original question, is it time to sell? The P/E ratio suggests is good value and im sure there are plenty of people who would like a bit of 6% div action but even when the fundamentals are there when a stock is out of favour it can keep defying logic. What do people think? cheers.
