Don’t post here much now as just sitting on hands waiting for the story to unfold this year.
I did wonder if the recent pull back towards the 130p zone was the MMs starting to work a position for a larger buy. Could be a case not posting trades till the relevant position/order was filled. (More guesswork than knowledge on my part).
All in all good to see the rise over 150p. Onwards and upwards please.
Good luck all holders.
Thanks for posting that Trek,
Nice reading. Glad I bit the bullet and did a top up, even after saying that what I had was enough. Lol. (Probably not very clever investment strategy, but bought my average down a bit to £1.154 and allows me a bit of wiggle room should/when the SP gets over £1.20 to trim back).
Hoping this is now on the rebound back towards my break even at least, but sentiment may make that a slow trip. Roll on the next dividend, (my first and hopefully of many here).
Good luck all holders.
Fair call Trek.
I’ve 35K shares here now at just below £1.16. That’s more than enough for me exposure. Case of see how this plays out over the next few quarters.
Started a small position here, look to add more soon. Might be price drops back, but current yield of over 6% helps negate drop in short term. Like the longer term prospects here and potential for increased (covered) income in future years.
Nice. Might try that ploy if I can get some cash free while the SP is down here. But to be honest not I’m very nimble when it comes to buying and selling. Still the income makes up for a missed opportunity.
Should add that 130p was also me seeing if that was a price I would bail out around on with a years dividend (profit) if I felt the share wasn’t for me, especially being new to this particular company. But the more Info I’ve gleaned seems to me it’s worth holding onto.
As aside, did hold TXP some years ago along with TRIN, took some profits well too early on TXP. (Trinity hasn’t really gone anywhere, so happy to have got out and put money to work elsewhere science then).
Thanks for the detailed response Trek.
Bought this share like others I suppose for the great yield. The 130p mark to me was based on a simplistic view that it was range bound there for a period before the recent drop down. Kind of hoping to add a few more shares in next couple of months when some cash comes free. So hoping I could keep my average purchase price down. Lol probably being a bit greedy.
Hi Trek,
Do you (or others) have a target price in mind for where the SP might be in say next 3-6months. Or is anything above 120p good enough as this is a dividend play.
Hoping this may get into the 130p zone over next 3/6 months. But fortunate enough to be in the green so happy to collect the dividends going forward and review quarterly.
Hi Kathy392000
Not really clued up on US tax. However. My broker advises me that DEC is subject to the US withholding tax @ 15%. I hold these shares in my ISA and via a nominee account. As such Charles Stanley Direct have W8BEN form in place, so my Dividend will be paid in GBP less the 15%.
Think if it’s held in a SIPP, there might be an opportunity to claim it back. But not sure on that.
Only recently bought into this share and the next dividend due will my first one from DEC. Others may have a better answer for you.
Took the opportunity to add a little bit this morning. Hope it is now basing, but then I’ve real idea, except it feels oversold. (Not a chartist, but the RSI is in the low/mid 30s).
Only recently got into this share. Obviously that means it drops in price, lol.
Still, just adding more as I can.
Hoping the decline will ease up as the yield is already pretty good, even allowing for further declines in the Dollar.
Well done Wasa and others on your buys down here. Not in position to buy, so holding what I have. Seems your buys have assisted the tick up. Went down rapidly from 5p on low volume, so agree recovery on some news could be swift, at least back upto the 5p zone.
Although Nickel price is nicely up and other miners will be looking to re-open mines or start new ones. The time to get to market isn’t weeks or months for new resources. Add in the Debt markets and our assets take on greater importance to a near term market wanting Nickel.
Just holding 50K now in my ISA, no complaints selling 2/3rds, as allowed me to book profits and diversify. Hopefully it’s at around £4 or better in a years time.

Taufour,
I’m sure they must have had a lot flack from the 90p raise and as they have cleared a major milestone (hurdle) in the debt release feel they can stick their heads above the parapet. Lol
LaM & Orion are both in it for a decent return, but longer term royalties are their Biz. If a prospective buyer came in with a reasonable bid (low but acceptable) and said to both of them they can have a side deal on royalty payments. Then go to Glen and say here is the price and yes you can keep the 10 yr deal for A1 & A2. Will they say no or accept the price. PI’s are not really in a position to argue on the offer. If 51% say yes.
Fwiw
A) Take out price £5
B) Mid 2024 £4
I will be delighted to get more, but first production or £4 (which ever is first) is my general sell down price based on my own timeline.
Great news. Unlocking of 1 tranche of Debt
